نعى نادي ريال سبورت كلوب البرتغالي لاعبه كيفين كاسترو، الذي توفي أثناء مشاركته في مباراة فريقه الودية أمام فريق إستريلا دا أمادورا. جاء ذلك خلال البيان الذي أصدره عبر موقعه الرسمي في موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «X»، الذي قال فيه: «ببالغ الحزن والأسى، ينعى نادي ريال سبورت كلوب وفاة كيفين كاسترو، الذي كان أكثر من مجرد لاعب، لقد كان جزءاً لا يتجزأ من عائلتنا، تاركاً بصمة لا تُمحى في قلوب كل من عرفه داخل الملعب وخارجه».
وأضاف البيان: «في هذا الوقت العصيب، يتقدم نادي ريال سبورت كلوب بأحر التعازي إلى عائلة وأصدقاء كيفين كاسترو، معرباً عن تضامنه الكامل ودعمه المطلق».
يُذكر أن «كيفين كاسترو»، ابن الـ25 عاماً، شعر بتوعك في بداية المباراة الودية، فتم إسعافه على أرض الملعب بجهاز مزيل الرجفان، ثم نُقل إلى المستشفى، وأُعلنت وفاته، في واقعة مأساوية هزت عالم كرة القدم البرتغالية.

This was announced in a statement issued on its official page on the social media platform "X," which said: "With deep sadness and sorrow, Real Sport Club mourns the death of Kevin Castro, who was more than just a player; he was an integral part of our family, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him both on and off the field."
The statement added: "In this difficult time, Real Sport Club extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Kevin Castro, expressing its full solidarity and unwavering support."
It is worth noting that 25-year-old Kevin Castro felt unwell at the beginning of the friendly match, was treated on the field with a defibrillator, then transported to the hospital, where his death was announced, in a tragic incident that shook the world of Portuguese football.
