يراقب مدرب المنتخب السعودي جورجيوس دونيس ومساعدوه مباريات دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين الذي سينطلق اليوم (الخميس) ، ومواجهات دور الـ32 من مسابقة كأس الملك التي ستبدأ الأحد القادم. ويهدف دونيس لمتابعة اللاعبين الذين ينوي استدعاءهم للمشاركة في بطولة كأس الخليج العربي (خليجي 27)، التي تستضيفها جدة خلال الفترة من 23 سبتمبر إلى 6 أكتوبر القادم.
ومن المنتظر أن يعلن الجهاز الفني للمنتخب السعودي في منتصف سبتمبر القادم قائمة أسماء اللاعبين الذين سينضمون لمعسكر «الأخضر» الإعدادي في جدة، الذي سينطلق الخميس 17 سبتمبر القادم، ضمن التحضيرات النهائية للمشاركة في بطولة "خليجي 27".
وسيخوض «الأخضر» برنامجًا إعداديًا مكثفًا تحت إشراف المدرب دونيس، يشتمل على تدريبات لياقية وفنية، وخوض مباريات ودية من أجل التحضير بشكل فني مناسب لبطولة كأس الخليج القادمة، التي يطمح من خلالها المنتخب السعودي إلى المنافسة على تحقيق اللقب خصوصاً أنها تقام على أرضه وبين جماهيره.
ويسعى المدرب دونيس لتجهيز «الأخضر» من خلال المعسكر الذي يأتي قبل انطلاق كأس «خليجي 27» للوصول للجاهزية الكاملة لمباريات البطولة القادمة.
