من المقرر أن تستضيف العاصمة السعودية «الرياض» الأدوار النهائية من بطولة دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لموسم 2026-2027 .
وتشمل الاستضافة مباريات ربع النهائي، نصف النهائي، والنهائي بنظام التجمع في العاصمة السعودية، على غرار النسختين الماضيتين.
ويأتي هذا القرار استمراراً لنجاح استضافة السعودية للأدوار النهائية في النسختين الأخيرتين، في ظل ما تملكه من بنية تحتية وملاعب عالمية وقدرة تنظيمية عالية.
وتشهد النسخة الرابعة والعشرون من البطولة الأبرز للأندية في آسيا تحت مسمى دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة مشاركة 32 نادياً في مرحلة الدوري، بزيادة عن 24 نادياً شاركوا في كل من الموسمين الماضيين.
ويهدف هذا التوسّع إلى توفير المزيد من الفرص لأندية النخبة من أجل التنافس مع أفضل أندية القارة، حيث يشارك 18 نادياً من سبعة اتحادات وطنية في كل من منطقتي الغرب والشرق. ويبدأ أربعة أندية من كل منطقة مشوار المنافسة من الدور التمهيدي، حيث تتنافس على مقعدين في مرحلة الدوري، بينما تتأهل الأندية الـ14 الأخرى مباشرة إلى مرحلة الدوري التي تنطلق يوم 14 أيلول/سبتمبر 2026.

This decision comes as a continuation of Saudi Arabia's successful hosting of the final stages in the last two editions, given its world-class infrastructure, stadiums, and high organizational capability.
The 24th edition of the premier club tournament in Asia, known as the AFC Champions League for the elite, will feature 32 clubs in the league stage, an increase from the 24 clubs that participated in each of the last two seasons.
This expansion aims to provide more opportunities for elite clubs to compete with the best clubs on the continent, with 18 clubs from seven national federations participating from both the west and east regions. Four clubs from each region will begin their competitive journey from the preliminary round, competing for two spots in the league stage, while the other 14 clubs will qualify directly to the league stage, which kicks off on September 14, 2026.
