استقبل الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، اليوم (السبت)، بمدينة العلمين، لاعبي المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم وأعضاء الجهازين الفني والإداري، في احتفالية لتكريمهم عقب الأداء المميز الذي قدموه خلال بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026، وذلك بحضور رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، ووزير الشباب والرياضة جوهر نبيل، ورئيس الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم المهندس هاني أبو ريدة.
وقال المتحدث باسم الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي إن الرئيس السيسي منح لاعبي المنتخب الوطني وأعضاء الجهازين الفني والإداري كأس الجدارة وأوسمة تكريمية، تقديراً لما قدموه من أداء بطولي ومستوى فني رفيع خلال منافسات كأس العالم 2026، وما أظهروه من عزيمة وإصرار وانضباط، كما التقط صورة تذكارية جمعت الرئيس بأفراد المنتخب والجهازين الفني والإداري.
وأوضح المتحدث أن السيسي ألقى كلمة رحب خلالها بلاعبي المنتخب والجهازين الفني والإداري، معرباً عن اعتزازه وتقديره لما قدمه الفريق من أداء مشرّف حظي بإشادة واسعة من المصريين، وكذلك في الدول العربية، وبين الجاليات المصرية والعربية بالخارج، وحتى على المستوى العالمي.
وأكد الرئيس أن المنتخب قدم نموذجاً مشرفاً يعكس القيم الأصيلة للشعب المصري، مشدداً على أن ما تحقق جاء ثمرة جهد كبير وإخلاص في تمثيل مصر، وأن الرياضة لا تُقاس فقط بنتائج الفوز والخسارة، بل بما يتركه الأداء من احترام وتقدير لدى الجماهير، لافتاً إلى أن ما قدمه المنتخب حظي بإعجاب واسع تجاوز أهمية النتائج نفسها.
وأشار السيسي إلى أن المنتخب مثّل شباب مصر بصورة رائعة، ونجح في إدخال الفرحة إلى قلوب المواطنين طوال مشواره في كأس العالم، بفضل الجدية والانضباط والروح القتالية التي ظهر بها في جميع المباريات، مؤكداً أن الفريق قدم نفسه كمنتخب كبير يلعب بإخلاص ويقاتل من أجل وطنه.
وأشاد الرئيس بما عكسه أداء المنتخب من قدرة المصريين على تحقيق النجاح في مختلف المجالات، مؤكداً أن مصر تمتلك قاعدة كبيرة من المواهب الكروية القادرة على الوصول إلى المستوى الذي ظهر به نجوم المنتخب الحالي.
وفي هذا السياق، شدد الرئيس على أهمية وجود «كشافين متجردين» لاكتشاف المواهب الشابة والصغيرة، مؤكداً استعداد الدولة لتقديم الدعم الكامل للمواهب الواعدة، ومنحها الفرص التي تستحقها، إلى جانب استمرار دعم الجهاز الفني الوطني.
واختتم السيسي كلمته بالتأكيد على ضرورة مواصلة العمل الجاد، والحفاظ على الروح القتالية التي ميزت المنتخب، مع التركيز على إعداد أجيال جديدة من اللاعبين القادرين على البناء على ما تحقق من نجاحات.
وفي ختام اللقاء، تناول السيسي مأدبة غداء مع لاعبي المنتخب وأعضاء الجهازين الفني والإداري، حيث استمع إلى عدد من اللاعبين الذين أعربوا عن امتنانهم لهذا التكريم، مؤكدين أنهم سيواصلون بذل أقصى ما لديهم للحفاظ على الإنجاز والبناء عليه خلال المرحلة القادمة.

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today (Saturday) in the city of El-Alamein the players of the national football team and members of the technical and administrative staff in a celebration to honor them following their outstanding performance during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Youth and Sports Mohamed Nabil, and the President of the Egyptian Football Association Eng. Hany Abou Rida.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that President El-Sisi awarded the national team players and members of the technical and administrative staff the Cup of Merit and honorary medals, in recognition of their heroic performance and high technical level during the 2026 World Cup competitions, and for their determination, perseverance, and discipline. He also took a commemorative photo with the president, the team members, and the technical and administrative staff.
The spokesperson explained that El-Sisi delivered a speech welcoming the team players and the technical and administrative staff, expressing his pride and appreciation for the honorable performance the team provided, which received widespread praise from Egyptians, as well as in Arab countries, among Egyptian and Arab communities abroad, and even on a global level.
The president affirmed that the team presented an honorable model that reflects the genuine values of the Egyptian people, stressing that what has been achieved is the result of great effort and sincerity in representing Egypt, and that sports should not only be measured by the results of wins and losses, but by the respect and appreciation that the performance leaves among the fans, noting that what the team presented garnered widespread admiration that surpassed the importance of the results themselves.
El-Sisi pointed out that the team represented the youth of Egypt wonderfully and succeeded in bringing joy to the hearts of citizens throughout their journey in the World Cup, thanks to the seriousness, discipline, and fighting spirit they displayed in all matches, affirming that the team presented itself as a great team that plays sincerely and fights for its country.
