أصدر المجلس العلمي بجامعة الباحة قرارًا بترقية الدكتور ساري بن محمد الزهراني، عضو هيئة التدريس بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية، إلى رتبة أستاذ في تخصص الأدب وعلوم اللغات، وتخصص النقد الأدبي وتحليل الخطاب، وذلك تقديرًا لإسهاماته العلمية وبحوثه المحكمة.
ويُعد الدكتور ساري الزهراني من الأكاديميين البارزين في مجال الدراسات الأدبية والنقدية، إذ نشر عشرات الأبحاث العلمية في مجلات وأوعية نشر سعودية وعربية محكمة، تناولت قضايا النقد الأدبي، والدراسات الشعرية والروائية، وأسهمت في إثراء البحث العلمي في هذا المجال.
وشملت أبحاثه دراسات نقدية تناولت أعمال عدد من أبرز الأدباء والنقاد، من بينهم عباس محمود العقاد، وبدر شاكر السياب، ومحمد الثبيتي، وعبدالله الغذامي، وسعد البازعي، وحسن الهويمل، إلى جانب عدد من الشعراء والروائيين والنقاد العرب، ما عزز حضوره الأكاديمي وإسهاماته في حقل النقد الأدبي وتحليل الخطاب.
The Scientific Council at Al-Baha University has issued a decision to promote Dr. Sari bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, a faculty member at the College of Arts and Humanities, to the rank of Professor in the field of Literature and Language Sciences, as well as Literary Criticism and Discourse Analysis, in recognition of his scientific contributions and peer-reviewed research.
Dr. Sari Al-Zahrani is considered one of the prominent academics in the field of literary and critical studies, having published dozens of scientific papers in Saudi and Arab peer-reviewed journals that addressed issues of literary criticism, as well as poetic and narrative studies, contributing to the enrichment of scientific research in this field.
His research includes critical studies that examined the works of several prominent writers and critics, including Abbas Mahmoud Al-Aqqad, Badr Shakir Al-Sayyab, Mohammed Al-Thubaiti, Abdullah Al-Ghudami, Saad Al-Bazai, and Hassan Al-Huwail, along with a number of Arab poets, novelists, and critics, which has enhanced his academic presence and contributions in the field of literary criticism and discourse analysis.
