وتناول ولي العهد، خلال اتصال هاتفي تلقاه من الرئيس الأمريكي، مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية والدولية، حيث جرى تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن أبرز القضايا الراهنة، وفي مقدمتها المحادثات الجارية بين الولايات المتحدة والجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية.
وأكد الجانبان أهمية الحفاظ على أمن الملاحة والممرات البحرية، ودعم الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed with U.S. President Donald Trump ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in several areas of mutual interest.
During a phone call he received from the U.S. President, the Crown Prince addressed the latest developments in regional and international situations, where they exchanged views on the most pressing current issues, foremost among them the ongoing talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining the security of navigation and maritime corridors, and supporting efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
