دخل الحارس الفرنسي مايك ماينان قائمة أبرز حراس المرمى في تاريخ منتخب فرنسا، بعدما رفع رصيده إلى 21 مباراة بشباك نظيفة، ليحتل المركز الخامس في ترتيب أكثر الحراس حفاظاً على نظافة الشباك بقميص «الديوك».
وجاء هذا الإنجاز بعدما خرج المنتخب الفرنسي بشباك نظيفة في مباراته الأخيرة، ليترك ماينان بصمته بين نخبة الحراس الذين دافعوا عن مرمى فرنسا عبر التاريخ.
وتجاوز ماينان رصيد جريجوار كوبيه البالغ 20 مباراة بشباك نظيفة، وأصبح على بعد مباراتين فقط من معادلة برنارد لاما صاحب المركز الرابع برصيد 23 مباراة، بينما يتصدر هوغو لوريس القائمة التاريخية بـ62 مباراة، يليه فابيان بارتيز بـ50 مباراة، ثم جويل باتس بـ27 مباراة.
ويؤكد هذا الرقم المكانة التي بات يحتلها ماينان داخل المنتخب الفرنسي، مع امتلاكه فرصة كبيرة للتقدم أكثر في القائمة التاريخية خلال السنوات القادمة إذا حافظ على مستواه الحالي.

Maignan surpassed Grégory Coupet's record of 20 clean sheets and is now just two matches away from equaling Bernard Lama, who holds fourth place with 23 clean sheets, while Hugo Lloris tops the historical list with 62 matches, followed by Fabien Barthez with 50 matches, and then Joël Bats with 27 matches.
