صعّد نادي أتلتيكو مدريد موقفه في ملف المهاجم الأرجنتيني جوليان ألفاريز، بعدما قرر رسمياً تقديم شكوى إلى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) ضد برشلونة.
وأكد رئيس أتلتيكو مدريد جيل مارين، أن برشلونة يحاول إقناع الجميع بقدرته على إتمام الصفقة رغم عدم امتلاكه الإمكانات اللازمة لذلك، مشيراً إلى أن النادي الكتالوني «يضلل اللاعب ووسائل الإعلام وجماهيره».
وأضاف مارين أن هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي يتصرف فيها برشلونة بهذه الطريقة، مستشهداً بما حدث سابقاً في ملف اللاعب نيكو ويليامز مع أتلتيك بيلباو.
وشدد رئيس أتلتيكو مدريد على تمسك ناديه بجوليان ألفاريز، مؤكداً أن الإدارة كانت واضحة منذ البداية في رفض بيع حقوق اللاعب، مضيفاً: «جوليان لاعب كبير ونحن فخورون جداً بوجوده معنا، ولا نرغب في التفريط به».
Atletico Madrid has escalated its stance regarding the Argentine striker Julian Alvarez, after officially deciding to file a complaint with FIFA against Barcelona.
Atletico Madrid's president, Gil Marin, confirmed that Barcelona is trying to convince everyone of its ability to complete the deal despite lacking the necessary resources, pointing out that the Catalan club "is misleading the player, the media, and its fans."
Marin added that this is not the first time Barcelona has acted in this manner, citing what happened previously with the player Nico Williams and Athletic Bilbao.
The president of Atletico Madrid emphasized his club's commitment to Julian Alvarez, confirming that the management has been clear from the beginning in refusing to sell the player's rights, adding: "Julian is a great player, and we are very proud to have him with us, and we do not wish to let him go."
