بدأ مدرب المنتخب السعودي دونيس التحضيرات الفنية لمواجهة منتخب الرأس الأخضر (السبت) القادم، على استاد إن آرجي هيوستن، ضمن ختام مباريات الجولة الثالثة في المجموعة الثامنة بكأس العالم 2026، وحرص المدرب دونيس، خلال الحصة التدريبية التي جرت على ملعب Q2 بمدينة أوستن، على معالجة الأخطاء الفنية التي حدثت في مباراة إسبانيا الماضية التي انتهت بخسار الأخضر برباعية نظيفة، من أجل تلافيها قبل مواجهة الرأس الأخضر القادمة. وسيعمد المدرب دونيس خلال الحصص التدريبية إلى تكثيف المناورات الكروية، واعتماد النهج الفني المناسب، واختيار التشكيلة الأساسية التي سيخوض بها المباراة الحاسمة.
وكانت بعثة المنتخب السعودي وصلت إلى مقر المعسكر الدائم بمدينة أوستن في ولاية تكساس الأمريكية، قادمةً من مدينة أتلانتا، عقب مواجهة إسبانيا في المونديال.
ويسعى المنتخب السعودي لتحقيق انتصاره الأول على منتخب الرأس الأخضر في المواجهة التي تجمعهما للمرة الأولى في تاريخ المنتخبين، وتسجيل أول انتصار في كأس العالم 2026، وتعزيز حظوظه في الوصول لدور الـ(32) في المونديال.
Saudi national team coach Donis has begun technical preparations for the upcoming match against the Cape Verde national team (next Saturday) at NRG Stadium in Houston, as part of the concluding matches of the third round in Group H of the 2026 World Cup. Coach Donis focused during the training session held at Q2 Stadium in Austin on addressing the technical errors that occurred in the last match against Spain, which ended with a 4-0 loss for the Green, in order to avoid them before the upcoming match against Cape Verde. During the training sessions, Coach Donis will intensify football drills, adopt the appropriate technical approach, and select the starting lineup that will compete in the crucial match.
The Saudi national team delegation arrived at the permanent camp in Austin, Texas, coming from Atlanta after the match against Spain in the World Cup.
The Saudi national team aims to achieve its first victory over the Cape Verde national team in their first-ever encounter in the history of both teams, to record its first win in the 2026 World Cup, and to enhance its chances of reaching the Round of 32 in the tournament.
