خطف مشجعو البرازيل الأضواء في مدينة فيلادلفيا الأمريكية بعدما نفذوا مزحة كروية جديدة استهدفت غريمهم التاريخي المنتخب الأرجنتيني، عبر استحضار ما يُعرف في ثقافة كرة القدم بأمريكا الجنوبية بـ(لعنة موفا) المرتبطة بجلب النحس وسوء الحظ.
وتجمَّع المئات من الجماهير البرازيلية عند تمثال (روكي بالبوا) الشهير، قبل أن يقوم عدد منهم بإلباسه قميص المنتخب الأرجنتيني، في خطوة ساخرة تهدف -وفق المعتقد الشعبي- إلى جلب النحس لمنتخب التانغو. وانتشرت الصور ومقاطع الفيديو سريعًا على مواقع التواصل، حيث ظهر المشجعون وهم يحتفلون ويغنون حول التمثال الذي ارتدى الألوان الزرقاء والبيضاء.
ولاقت المزحة تفاعلًا واسعًا بين جماهير المنتخبين، إذ ردّ الأرجنتينيون بروح مرحة مؤكدين أن أي «لعنة» لن تؤثر على مسيرة بطل العالم، بينما اعتبر البرازيليون أن «موفا» جزء من المنافسة التاريخية التي تتجاوز المستطيل الأخضر وتمتد إلى المدرجات ومنصات التواصل.
وعلى الصعيد الرياضي، عزّز المنتخب البرازيلي حضوره في البطولة بفوز مهم على هايتي بثلاثية نظيفة، سجل منها ماتيوس كونيا هدفين، فيما واصل فينيسيوس جونيور تألقه بهدف وصناعتين، لترفع البرازيل رصيدها إلى أربع نقاط في صدارة المجموعة الثالثة بفارق الأهداف عن المغرب.
Brazilian fans stole the spotlight in Philadelphia, USA, after pulling off a new football prank targeting their historic rival, the Argentine national team, by invoking what is known in South American football culture as the (Mufa Curse), associated with bringing bad luck and misfortune.
Hundreds of Brazilian fans gathered at the famous (Rocky Balboa) statue, before some of them dressed it in the Argentine national team's jersey, in a sarcastic move aimed - according to popular belief - at bringing misfortune to the Tango team. Photos and videos quickly spread on social media, showing fans celebrating and singing around the statue dressed in blue and white colors.
The prank received a wide reaction among the fans of both teams, as the Argentinians responded with a light-hearted spirit, affirming that any "curse" would not affect the world champion's journey, while the Brazilians considered "Mufa" a part of the historical rivalry that extends beyond the pitch and into the stands and social media platforms.
On the sporting front, the Brazilian national team strengthened its presence in the tournament with an important victory over Haiti with a clean score of three goals, two of which were scored by Matheus Cunha, while Vinicius Junior continued to shine with one goal and two assists, raising Brazil's tally to four points at the top of Group C, ahead of Morocco on goal difference.
