ثأر المنتخب الهولندي بصورة غير مباشرة لنظيره التونسي، بعدما ألحق هزيمة كبيرة بالسويد بنتيجة 5-1، اليوم (السبت)، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات في كأس العالم 2026.
وكانت السويد قد افتتحت مشوارها في البطولة بفوز كاسح على تونس بالنتيجة ذاتها، وهي الخسارة التي أدت إلى إقالة المدرب صبري لموشي وتعيين الفرنسي هيرفي رينارد خلفاً له.
وفرض المنتخب الهولندي أفضليته منذ البداية، إذ افتتح بريان بروبي التسجيل مبكراً بهدفين في الدقيقتين الخامسة و17، قبل أن يعزز كودي غاكبو التقدم بهدفين آخرين مع انطلاق الشوط الثاني في الدقيقتين 47 و54.
ونجح أنتوني إيلانغا في تقليص الفارق للسويد عند الدقيقة 59، إلا أن كريسينسيو سمرفيل اختتم مهرجان الأهداف الهولندي بإحراز الهدف الخامس في الدقيقة 89.
وبهذا الانتصار، رفعت هولندا رصيدها إلى 4 نقاط في صدارة المجموعة السادسة، فيما تجمد رصيد السويد عند 3 نقاط، قبل المواجهة التي تجمع اليابان وتونس في وقت لاحق من الجولة.
The Dutch national team indirectly avenged their Tunisian counterpart by inflicting a heavy defeat on Sweden with a score of 5-1 today (Saturday) in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Sweden had opened their campaign in the tournament with a crushing victory over Tunisia by the same score, a loss that led to the dismissal of coach Sabri Lamouchi and the appointment of Frenchman Hervé Renard as his successor.
The Dutch team established their dominance from the start, with Brian Brobbey opening the scoring early with two goals in the 5th and 17th minutes, before Cody Gakpo extended the lead with two more goals at the beginning of the second half in the 47th and 54th minutes.
Anthony Elanga managed to reduce the deficit for Sweden in the 59th minute, but Krystian Smurfiel capped off the Dutch goal fest by scoring the fifth goal in the 89th minute.
With this victory, the Netherlands raised their tally to 4 points at the top of Group F, while Sweden's points remained at 3, ahead of the match between Japan and Tunisia later in the round.
