قرر الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، إنهاء علاقته العملية بالأمين العام سمير المحمادي، مع توجيه الشكر والتقدير له على ما قدّمه خلال فترة عمله، وتكليف الأمين العام المساعد ماجد آل صاحب، للقيام بمهمات الأمين العام خلال الفترة القادمة، استناداً إلى المادة (35) الفقرة (5) من النظام الأساسي للاتحاد، المعنونة بـ«صلاحيات مجلس الإدارة»، التي نصّت على:
«تعيين وإقالة الأمين العام بناءً على اقتراح الرئيس، ويجوز للمجلس بقرارٍ منفرد منه إقالة الأمين العام».
ويُعد هذا القرار سارياً اعتباراً من تاريخه، ويستمر العمل به إلى حين صدور قرار من مجلس الإدارة يقضي بخلاف ذلك.
The Saudi Football Federation has decided to terminate its working relationship with the Secretary-General Samir Al-Mahmadi, expressing gratitude and appreciation for his contributions during his tenure. The Assistant Secretary-General Majid Al-Sahib has been appointed to carry out the duties of the Secretary-General during the upcoming period, based on Article (35) Paragraph (5) of the Federation's bylaws, titled "Powers of the Board of Directors," which states:
“The appointment and dismissal of the Secretary-General shall be based on the President's proposal, and the Board may, by its own decision, dismiss the Secretary-General.”
This decision is effective as of this date and will remain in effect until a decision is issued by the Board of Directors to the contrary.
