تفوق اﻷهلي على ضيفه الفتح بثلاثة أهداف لهدف، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية بجدة، في اللقاء المؤجل من الجولة 28 من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء بداية قوية للأهلي وتحصل نجمه رياض محرز على ركلة جزاء مستغلاً هفوة دفاعية ليتقدم لها إيفان توني ويسددها بنجاح (د:27)، وفي الشوط الثاني نشط أداء الفتح وتمكن من إدراك التعادل عن طريق سفيان بن دبكة (د:50)، ولكن سرعان ما عاد اﻷهلي للسيطرة على مجريات اللقاء واستطاع إيفان توني أن يحرز الهدف الثاني من ركلة جزاء ثانية (د:76)، قبل أن يعود توني لزيارة شباك الفتح ويحرز الهدف الشخصي الثالث له (الهاتريك) ولفريقه اﻷهلي (د:90+1)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز اﻷهلي بثلاثة أهداف لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق الأهلي فوزه الـ22 ويصل للنقطة 72 محتفظاً بالمركز الثالث، فيما تلقى الفتح الخسارة الـ14 وتجمد رصيده عند 33 نقطة في المركز الـ12.

The match witnessed a strong start from Al-Ahli, with their star Riyad Mahrez earning a penalty kick after exploiting a defensive error. Ivan Toney stepped up to take the penalty and successfully converted it (27’). In the second half, Al-Fateh improved their performance and managed to equalize through Sofiane Bendebka (50’), but Al-Ahli quickly regained control of the match. Ivan Toney scored the second goal from a second penalty (76’), before Toney returned to find the net again, scoring his personal third goal (hat-trick) and for his team Al-Ahli (90+1’), ending the match with Al-Ahli winning three goals to one.
With this result, Al-Ahli achieves their 22nd victory and reaches 72 points, maintaining third place, while Al-Fateh suffers their 14th loss, remaining at 33 points in 12th place.
