أنهى النصر تفوق المدرب سعد الشهري، في المواجهات المباشرة، بعدما تغلب عليه بنتيجة (1-0) في الجولة 29 من دوري روشن السعودي، في لقاء قاد خلاله الشهري فريق الاتفاق، ليتلقى أول خسارة له أمام النصر بعد سلسلة من النتائج الإيجابية.
ودخل الشهري المواجهة بسجل مميز أمام النصر، إذ سبق أن التقيا في 4 مباريات جميعها أثناء قيادته للاتفاق، ونجح خلالها في تحقيق انتصارين مثيرين بنتيجة (3-2) في موسمي 2017/ 2018 و2024/ 2025، إلى جانب تعادل وحيد (2-2)، قبل أن تتوقف هذه الأفضلية بخسارة اليوم، التي أعادت التوازن في سجل المواجهات.
وعلى صعيد الصراع الفني مع المدرب البرتغالي جيسوس، واصل الأخير فرض حضوره، إذ جمعتهما 3 مواجهات مباشرة، انتهت مباراتان منها بالتعادل، الأولى في موسم 2023/ 2024 عندما كان جيسوس يقود الهلال، والثانية في موسم 2025/ 2026 بعد توليه تدريب النصر، فيما نجح جيسوس في حسم المواجهة الثالثة لصالحه.
وتعكس هذه الأرقام تقارباً كبيراً في مستوى المدربين خلال مواجهاتهما، إلا أن نتيجة اليوم منحت النصر الأفضلية، وأكدت تفوق جيسوس في المواجهات المباشرة، مقابل تراجع سجل الشهري الذي كان صامداً لعدة مواسم قبل أن يتوقف عند خسارة الجولة 29.
Al-Nasr ended the dominance of coach Saad Al-Shahrani in direct encounters, as they defeated him with a score of (1-0) in the 29th round of the Roshan Saudi League, in a match where Al-Shahrani led the Al-Ettifaq team, marking his first loss against Al-Nasr after a series of positive results.
Al-Shahrani entered the match with an impressive record against Al-Nasr, having previously faced them in 4 matches, all while coaching Al-Ettifaq. He succeeded in achieving two thrilling victories with a score of (3-2) in the 2017/2018 and 2024/2025 seasons, along with a single draw (2-2), before this advantage was halted by today's loss, which restored balance to their head-to-head record.
On the technical front against Portuguese coach Jesus, the latter continued to assert his presence, as they faced each other in 3 direct encounters, two of which ended in a draw: the first in the 2023/2024 season when Jesus was coaching Al-Hilal, and the second in the 2025/2026 season after he took over coaching Al-Nasr, while Jesus managed to win the third encounter in his favor.
These numbers reflect a significant closeness in the level of the coaches during their encounters; however, today's result granted Al-Nasr the advantage and confirmed Jesus's superiority in direct confrontations, in contrast to Al-Shahrani's record, which had stood firm for several seasons before it was halted by the loss in the 29th round.
