طالبت رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين بتحري الدقة والاعتماد على المصادر الرسمية في بث أخبارها، في إشارة واضحة للأمير نواف بن محمد، خلال حديثه لبرنامج «في المرمى»، الذي يقدمه الإعلامي بتال القوس عبر قناة العربية. وقالت الرابطة في بيان نشرته عبر موقعها الرسمي: «إشارةً إلى ما تم تداوله حول تحويل جزء من الميزانية المخصصة لنادي الاتحاد إلى أندية أخرى، أو وجود مبالغ متأخرة للنادي، تؤكد رابطة الدوري السعودي للمحترفين عدم صحة هذه المعلومات، حيث لم يطرأ أي تغيير أو إعادة توزيع ما يتعلق بمخصصات نادي الاتحاد المالية أو أي نادٍ آخر». وأكد البيان أن جميع الأندية، بما فيها نادي الاتحاد، مطّلعة على التفاصيل المالية التي تخصها وفق الأطر المعتمدة، مشددة على أهمية تحرّي الدقة والاعتماد على المصادر الرسمية عند تناول مثل هذه الموضوعات، حرصاً على نقل المعلومات بصورة دقيقة.
The Saudi Professional League Association has called for accuracy and reliance on official sources when broadcasting its news, in a clear reference to Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed, during his talk on the program "In the Goal," hosted by the media figure Batal Al-Qaws on Al Arabiya channel. The association stated in a statement published on its official website: "In reference to what has been circulated regarding the transfer of part of the budget allocated to Al-Ittihad Club to other clubs, or the existence of overdue amounts for the club, the Saudi Professional League Association confirms the inaccuracy of this information, as there has been no change or redistribution concerning the financial allocations of Al-Ittihad Club or any other club." The statement emphasized that all clubs, including Al-Ittihad Club, are aware of the financial details pertaining to them according to the approved frameworks, stressing the importance of accuracy and reliance on official sources when addressing such topics, in order to convey information accurately.
