وشارك صلاح أساسياً في مباراة ليفربول ضد قرة باغ أمس (الأربعاء) ضمن منافسات الجولة الثامنة والأخيرة من مرحلة الدوري بمسابقة دوري أبطال أوروبا، وسجل هدفاً ساهم في فوز فريقه الكبير بنتيجة 6-0، ليضمن ليفربول التأهل المباشر إلى دور الـ16.

وبحسب شبكة «أوبتا» المتخصصة في إحصائيات كرة القدم، خاض صلاح مباراته رقم 80 في دوري أبطال أوروبا مع ليفربول أمام قرة باغ، ليعادل بذلك رقم جيمي كاراغر القياسي مع النادي.
وأضافت أن صلاح عادل رقم كاراغر القياسي تزامناً مع احتفال الأخير بعيد ميلاده الـ48، في إشارة إلى أن كاراغر قد لا يكون سعيداً بهذا الإنجاز لصلاح، خصوصا أنه يُعد من أشد المنتقدين للنجم المصري في الأسابيع الأخيرة.

According to the specialized football statistics network "Opta," Salah played his 80th match in the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool against Qarabag, thus equaling Jamie Carragher's record with the club.
It was added that Salah matched Carragher's record coinciding with the latter's celebration of his 48th birthday, indicating that Carragher may not be pleased with this achievement for Salah, especially since he has been one of the harshest critics of the Egyptian star in recent weeks.
