أثار نجم منتخب مصر السابق، مؤمن زكريا، قلق متابعيه بعد نشر صورة له من داخل المستشفى عبر حسابه على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «إنستغرام».
ونشر مؤمن زكريا الصورة أثناء تلقيه العلاج في أحد المستشفيات، مرفقة بمقطع صوتي جاء فيه: «الله يعلم ما نشكو من الألم، وما نعانيه من ضيق وسقم، لكن لنا فيه ظن لا يخيبنا».

من جانبه، صرح والد مؤمن زكريا أن الصورة التي نشرها اللاعب كانت خلال خضوعه لفحوصات طبية، مضيفاً: «محدش عارف المرض ده إيه»، في إشارة إلى طبيعة حالته الصحية النادرة والمعقدة.

ويعاني زكريا من التصلب الجانبي الضموري في العضلات، وهو مرض نادر الحدوث أجبر اللاعب الذي خاض تجربتين في الدوري السعودي مع الأهلي وأُحُد، على إنهاء مسيرته الكروية منذ 2019.
ويُعد مؤمن زكريا أحد النجوم القلائل الذين تألقوا بقميصَي قطبي كرة القدم المصرية الأهلي والزمالك، كما لعب 12 مباراة دولية مع منتخب مصر الأول.
Former Egypt national team star, Moamen Zakaria, raised concerns among his followers after posting a picture of himself from inside the hospital on his social media account "Instagram."
Moamen Zakaria shared the photo while receiving treatment in one of the hospitals, accompanied by an audio clip that said: "God knows what we complain of pain, and what we suffer from distress and illness, but we have a belief in Him that will not disappoint us."
Clarification from the family
For his part, Moamen Zakaria's father stated that the photo posted by the player was during his medical examinations, adding: "No one knows what this illness is," referring to the nature of his rare and complex health condition.

Zakaria suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a rare disease that forced the player, who had two experiences in the Saudi league with Al Ahly and Ohod, to end his football career since 2019.
Moamen Zakaria is considered one of the few stars who excelled in the jerseys of the two poles of Egyptian football, Al Ahly and Zamalek, and he played 12 international matches with the Egypt national team.
