في ظل الدعم الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة للقطاع الرياضي، وتعزيزاً لنهج التمكين والمشاركة في صنع القرار، أعلنت لجنة الانتخابات بالاتحاد السعودي لألعاب القوى فتح باب الترشّح لعضوية لجنة اللاعبين، وفق اللائحة المعتمدة من مجلس إدارة الاتحاد.
وأوضحت اللجنة أن استقبال طلبات الترشّح سيبدأ اعتباراً من 27/ 1/ 2026 ويستمر حتى 5/ 2/ 2026، داعية جميع اللاعبين المستوفين للشروط إلى التقدّم عبر القنوات المعتمدة.
وبيّنت لجنة الانتخابات أن العملية الانتخابية ستُدار وفق أعلى معايير النزاهة والشفافية، وتشمل مراجعة الطلبات، وإعلان القوائم الأولية والنهائية للمرشحين، ثم إجراء التصويت وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
وأكدت اللجنة أن لجنة اللاعبين تُعد منصة فاعلة لتمثيل صوت اللاعبين وإيصال آرائهم ومقترحاتهم، بما يسهم في تطوير منظومة ألعاب القوى الوطنية، انسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تمكين الرياضيين وتعزيز الحوكمة.
ودعت اللجنة جميع اللاعبين إلى الاطلاع على تفاصيل الشروط والآليات عبر الموقع الرسمي للاتحاد، والمشاركة الفاعلة في هذه العملية الانتخابية.
In light of the significant support provided by the wise leadership to the sports sector, and to enhance the approach of empowerment and participation in decision-making, the Elections Committee of the Saudi Athletics Federation announced the opening of nominations for membership in the Athletes' Committee, in accordance with the regulations approved by the Federation's Board of Directors.
The committee clarified that the reception of nomination applications will begin on 27/1/2026 and will continue until 5/2/2026, inviting all eligible athletes to apply through the approved channels.
The Elections Committee indicated that the electoral process will be managed according to the highest standards of integrity and transparency, including the review of applications, the announcement of the preliminary and final lists of candidates, and then conducting the voting according to the approved procedures.
The committee confirmed that the Athletes' Committee serves as an effective platform for representing the voice of athletes and conveying their opinions and suggestions, contributing to the development of the national athletics system, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in empowering athletes and enhancing governance.
The committee urged all athletes to review the details of the conditions and mechanisms through the official website of the federation and to actively participate in this electoral process.
