أجرى منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 23 عاماً اليوم (الأحد) تدريباته في جدة استعداداً لمنافسات بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026 التي تستضيفها المملكة وتمتد حتى 24 من يناير الجاري.
وأدى لاعبو «الأخضر» حصتهم التدريبية مساء اليوم على ملعب التدريبات بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية، تحت إشراف المدرب الإيطالي لويجي دي بياجو والجهاز الفني المساعد، طبّقوا خلالها مراناً لياقياً، تلاه مران تكتيكي، واختتمت الحصة بمناورة على كامل مساحة الملعب.
ويختتم أخضر 23 عاماً في السادسة من مساء غدٍ (الإثنين) تدريباته تحضيراً لمواجهة منتخب قيرغيزستان مساء بعد غدٍ (الثلاثاء) ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026.
من جهة أخرى، استبعد المدرب لويجي دي بياجو اللاعب عبدالملك الجابر لعدم الجاهزية، فيما استدعى اللاعب بسام هزازي للالتحاق بالمعسكر.
من جانب آخر، عقد الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم ممثلاً باللجنة المنظمة لبطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026، اجتماعاً ترحيبياً ببعثة «الأخضر» في مقر اقامتهم في جدة، شُرح خلاله التعليمات المتعلقة بالبطولة، والتحديثات في قانون كرة القدم، وموضوعات النزاهة في المباريات.
يُذكر أن المنتخب الوطني تحت 23 عاماً يأتي في المجموعة الأولى من بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026، وإلى جانبه منتخبات فيتنام، والأردن، وقيرغيزستان.
Our Saudi national team under 23 years old conducted its training today (Sunday) in Jeddah in preparation for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026, which is hosted by the Kingdom and runs until January 24.
The players of the "Green" performed their training session this evening at the training ground of King Abdullah Sports City, under the supervision of Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio and the assistant coaching staff. They carried out a fitness training session, followed by tactical training, and concluded with a full-field scrimmage.
The U-23 Green team will conclude its training at six o'clock tomorrow evening (Monday) in preparation for facing the Kyrgyzstan national team the day after tomorrow (Tuesday) in the first round of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026.
On another note, coach Luigi Di Biagio excluded player Abdulmalik Al-Jaber due to unfitness, while he called up player Bassam Hazzazi to join the camp.
Additionally, the Asian Football Confederation, represented by the organizing committee for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026, held a welcoming meeting with the "Green" delegation at their accommodation in Jeddah, during which the instructions related to the tournament, updates in football laws, and issues of match integrity were explained.
It is worth mentioning that the national team under 23 years old is in Group A of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026, alongside the teams of Vietnam, Jordan, and Kyrgyzstan.
