أعلن الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم، اليوم، اختيار مدينة جدة لاستضافة الأدوار النهائية من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لموسم 2025–2026، التي ستقام بنظام التجمّع، وذلك على ملعبي مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية، ومدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية.
وستشهد المرحلة الختامية من البطولة تنافس الأندية الـ8 الواصلة إلى الأدوار النهائية من البطولة، وذلك بنظام خروج المغلوب من مباراة واحدة، إذ تُقام مباريات الدور ربع النهائي خلال الفترة من (16 إلى 18) أبريل، تليها مواجهتا الدور نصف النهائي يومي (20 و21 أبريل)، على أن تُختتم المنافسات بالمباراة النهائية يوم 25 أبريل 2026.
ويأتي اختيار جدة لاستضافة نهائيات البطولة للموسم الثاني على التوالي، بعد أن احتضنت المدينة نفسها ختام منافسات النسخة الماضية، في تأكيد جديد على ثقة الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم في قدرات المملكة لاستضافة كبرى البطولات الرياضية بالقارة، وما تتمتّع به المنشآت الرياضية في المملكة من مميزات لاستضافة الأحداث القارية، كما تأتي امتداداً للتعاون الوثيق بين الاتحادين الآسيوي والسعودي لكرة القدم من أجل خدمة الكرة الآسيوية.
يذكر أن مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية ومدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية تعدان من الركائز الأساسية في ملف استضافة كأس آسيا 2027، إذ ستتقاسم المدينتان استضافة مباريات الأدوار الإقصائية، فيما تحتضن مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية المباراة النهائية للحدث الكبير الذي تحتضنه المملكة مطلع عام 2027.
The Asian Football Confederation announced today the selection of the city of Jeddah to host the final stages of the AFC Champions League for the 2025–2026 season, which will be held in a centralized format, at the King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City.
The final stage of the tournament will see competition among the 8 clubs that have reached the final rounds, following a knockout format of a single match. The quarter-final matches will take place from April 16 to 18, followed by the semi-final matches on April 20 and 21, with the competition concluding with the final match on April 25, 2026.
Jeddah's selection to host the finals for the second consecutive season comes after the city hosted the conclusion of the previous edition, reaffirming the Asian Football Confederation's confidence in the Kingdom's capabilities to host major sporting events in the continent, as well as the advantages of the Kingdom's sports facilities in hosting continental events. This also extends the close cooperation between the Asian and Saudi football federations to serve Asian football.
It is worth noting that King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City are among the key pillars in the bid to host the AFC Asian Cup 2027, as the two cities will share hosting the knockout matches, while King Abdullah Sports City will host the final match of the major event that the Kingdom will host in early 2027.
