أوضح مدرب نابولي الإيطالي أنطونيو كونتي، جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة نصف نهائي بطولة السوبر الإيطالي الذي تستضيفه العاصمة السعودية الرياض، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق المواجهة الأولى من البطولة وقال: «مرّ الفريق بعدد من التحديات منذ بداية الموسم، من بينها خسارة بعض العناصر المؤثرة، إلا أن العمل المستمر والالتزام داخل المجموعة أسهما في الحفاظ على التوازن الفني»، مشدداً على أهمية التعويض والاستمرار بالعمل بالعقلية الصحيحة، مؤكدًا أن التركيز ينصب على تحقيق الانتصار وبلوغ المباراة النهائية.
من جانبه، عبّر اللاعب دي لورينزو، عن ثقة اللاعبين في قدرتهم على تقديم مستوى قوي، مشيرًا إلى أن الفريق يعيش حالة فنية جيدة رغم خسارة المباراة الماضية. وأضاف: «بطولة السوبر الإيطالي تحظى بأهمية كبيرة، وتمثل دافعًا مضاعفًا لتقديم أفضل أداء ممكن أمام منافس قوي، مؤكدًا تطلع اللاعبين لتجاوز نصف النهائي».
