اعتمد مجلس الوزراء برئاسة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وبناءً على ما رفعه مجلس الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية؛ إلغاء المقابل المالي المقرر على العمالة الوافدة في المنشآت الصناعية المرخص لها بموجب ترخيص صناعي.
ويأتي القرار استمرارًا للدعم والتمكين الذي يلقاه القطاع الصناعي من القيادة الرشيدة، وفي إطار حرص واهتمام ولي العهد بتمكين المصانع الوطنية وتعزيز استدامتها وتنافسيتها عالميًا، وتحقيق رؤية المملكة الطموحة نحو بناء اقتصاد صناعي تنافسي ومرن، بوصف الصناعة ركيزة أساسية لتنويع الاقتصاد الوطني وفقًا لرؤية السعودية 2030.
The Council of Ministers, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has approved, based on what was submitted by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the cancellation of the financial fee imposed on foreign labor in industrial establishments licensed under an industrial license.
This decision comes as a continuation of the support and empowerment that the industrial sector receives from the wise leadership, and as part of the Crown Prince's keen interest in empowering national factories and enhancing their sustainability and global competitiveness, as well as achieving the Kingdom's ambitious vision towards building a competitive and flexible industrial economy, considering industry as a fundamental pillar for diversifying the national economy in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
