يشعر نادي مانشستر يونايتد بالاستياء من منتخب المغرب، بعد منع لاعبه نصير مزراوي من اللعب مع الفريق أمام بورنموث، أول أمس (الإثنين)، ببطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز لكرة القدم، حسبما أفادت وكالة الأنباء البريطانية (بي أيه ميديا)، اليوم (الأربعاء).
وقرر المنتخب المغربي، الذي يستهل مشواره بنهائيات كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي يستضيفها أمام منتخب جزر القمر الأحد القادم، استدعاء مزراوي (28 عاماً) فيما أكد الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) أخيراً بدء فترة انضمام اللاعبين الدوليين للمنتخبات المشاركة في المسابقة القارية أول أمس.
والتقى مانشستر يونايتد مع ضيفه بورنموث في تلك الليلة، ولم يتمكن من إشراك مزراوي في المباراة التي انتهت بالتعادل 4-4، بعد أن رفض الاتحاد المغربي لكرة القدم السماح للاعب، الذي يجيد اللعب في أكثر من مركز، بالمشاركة.
وذكرت بي أيه ميديا أنه تم رفع الأمر إلى فيفا، حيث شعر مانشستر يونايتد بخيبة أمل كبيرة وشعر بأنه عوقب بشكل غير عادل بسبب وضع هذا الجدول الخاص بالمباريات، طبقاً لما نقلته وكالة الأنباء الألمانية.
وكان البرتغالي روبن أموريم، المدير الفني لمانشستر يونايتد، يتوقع أن يكون مزراوي، الذي تدرب مع زملائه يوم الأحد الماضي، قبل رحيله عن الفريق، جاهزاً للمشاركة.
في المقابل، تمكن برايان مبويمو وأماد ديالو من اللعب أمام بورنموث بعد أن أجرى مانشستر يونايتد محادثات مثمرة مع اتحادي الكاميرون وكوت ديفوار لكرة القدم على الترتيب.
Manchester United is displeased with the Moroccan national team after their player Noussair Mazraoui was prevented from playing with the team against Bournemouth last Monday in the English Premier League, according to a report by the British news agency (PA Media) today (Wednesday).
The Moroccan national team, which is starting its campaign in the Africa Cup of Nations hosted against the Comoros Islands next Sunday, has called up Mazraoui (28 years old), while FIFA has recently confirmed the start of the international player registration period for the teams participating in the continental competition as of last Monday.
Manchester United faced Bournemouth at home that night and was unable to include Mazraoui in the match, which ended in a 4-4 draw, after the Moroccan Football Federation refused to allow the player, who is capable of playing in multiple positions, to participate.
PA Media reported that the matter has been raised to FIFA, as Manchester United felt a significant disappointment and believed they were unfairly punished due to the scheduling of these matches, according to the German news agency.
Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim of Manchester United had expected that Mazraoui, who trained with his teammates last Sunday before leaving the team, would be ready to participate.
On the other hand, Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo were able to play against Bournemouth after Manchester United had fruitful discussions with the football federations of Cameroon and Ivory Coast, respectively.
