كشفت مصادر لـ«عكاظ» أن نادي الهلال اقترب من تمديد عقد النجم الدولي البرتغالي روبن نيفيز لمدة موسمين حتى العام 2028، وتبقى فقط بعض التفاصيل البسيطة المتعلقة ببنود عقد اللاعب. وتأتي تحركات الإدارة الهلالية وفق توصية المدرب سيموني إنزاغي الذي طلب استمرار اللاعب مع النادي.
وأوضحت المصادر أن إدارة نادي الهلال تسعى لحسم ملف تمديد عقد اللاعب قبل دخوله فترة الستة أشهر «الحرة» في يناير القادم، إذ ينتهي عقد اللاعب مع ناديه الحالي في يونيو القادم، وتهدف الإدارة الهلالية لقطع الطريق على الأندية الأوروبية التي تسعى للتعاقد مع اللاعب.
يذكر أن روبن نيفيز انضم لنادي الهلال في نهاية يونيو 2023 قادما من نادي وولفرهامبتون الإنجليزي بعقد لمدة 3 أعوام.

The moves by the Al-Hilal administration come following the recommendation of coach Simone Inzaghi, who requested the player to continue with the club.
The sources indicated that the Al-Hilal administration is working to finalize the extension of the player's contract before he enters the "free" six-month period in January, as the player's current contract with his club ends next June. The Al-Hilal administration aims to cut off the path for European clubs that are seeking to sign the player.
It is worth noting that Ruben Neves joined Al-Hilal in late June 2023 from Wolverhampton Wanderers in England with a contract lasting for three years.
