أهدى الأفغاني محمد يوسف جهانجير بلاده أول ميدالية ذهبية في تاريخ مشاركاتها بدورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي، بعد تتويجه بذهبية وزن 70–75 كجم بالملاكمة التايلندية، وذلك بحضور رئيس اللجنة العليا المنظمة لدورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي السادسة (الرياض 2025) الأمير فهد بن جلوي.
وفي ذات النزال الذي أقيم في برج الفنون بالمسار الرياضي، أمس (الجمعة)، نال التركي محمد علي ميريتش الميدالية الفضية، فيما تُوِّج كلٌّ من السعودي عناد باعويضان والمغربي يوسف أسويك بالميداليتين البرونزيتين.
وخطف الكازاخستاني تورار دويسخان ذهبية وزن 55–60 كجم، وحصل العراقي إياد البدر على الفضية، بينما حصل الماليزي ووسوف بن رومي جام والأذربيجاني علي علييف على البرونز، وتوّج المغربي حمزة رشيد بذهب وزن 60–65 كجم بعد تفوقه على الأذربيجاني خيال علييف صاحب الفضية، فيما ذهبت البرونزيتان إلى الفلسطيني أمير آملي والتركي سيرجان كوتش.
وأحرز الإماراتي محمد ماردي الميدالية الذهبية في وزن 65–70 كجم، وتبعه السعودي عامر العنزي بالفضية، في حين نال الأذربيجاني صلاح الدين جوجازاده والأردني يزن السيفي البرونزية، وتوج العراقي مصطفى التكريتي بذهب وزن 75–80 كجم، وحلول الإيراني ماجد هاشم بيكي ثانيًا بالفضية، وفاز الإماراتي إلياس حبيب بالبرونزية.
وفي منافسات السيدات، خطفت المغربية كلثوم أخلوف ذهبية وزن 45–50 كجم، ونالت الإيرانية فرشته حسن زاده الفضية، فيما حصلت الماليزية داميا حوسنا واللبنانية دسوفاك كوتشكاريان على البرونز، وتوجت التركية غولستان توران بذهب وزن 50–55 كجم بعد فوزها على الإماراتية زينب بوحمادة التي نالت الفضية، بينما نالت الأوزبكية عزيزة ماموروفا.
وأحرزت التركية كوبرا كوجاكوس الميدالية الذهبية في وزن 55–60 كجم، تلتها الإيرانية زهرة أكبري بالفضية، فيما ذهبت البرونزيتان للجزائرية بلقيس مشراوي والسعودية سُهى الفار، وتوّجت التركية بديهة تاسيلديز شاهين بذهب وزن 60–65 كجم، وحصلت الإيرانية فاطمة حسيني كاهكي على الفضية، بينما نالت الأوزبكية سيفارا ديلمورودوفا الميدالية البرونزية.
The Afghan Muhammad Yusuf Jahangir gifted his country its first gold medal in the history of its participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games, after winning the gold in the 70–75 kg category of Muay Thai boxing, in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), Prince Fahd bin Jalawi.
In the same bout held at the Arts Tower in the sports track yesterday (Friday), the Turkish Muhammad Ali Merich won the silver medal, while both the Saudi Anad Baawidan and the Moroccan Youssef Asouik were awarded the bronze medals.
The Kazakhstani Turar Duisqan snatched the gold in the 55–60 kg category, with the Iraqi Iyad Al-Badr taking the silver, while the Malaysian Wusof bin Rumi Jam and the Azerbaijani Ali Aliyev received the bronze. The Moroccan Hamza Rashid was crowned with gold in the 60–65 kg category after defeating the Azerbaijani Khayal Aliyev, who took the silver, while the bronzes went to the Palestinian Amir Amali and the Turkish Serjan Koch.
The Emirati Muhammad Mardhi won the gold medal in the 65–70 kg category, followed by the Saudi Amer Al-Anzi with the silver, while the Azerbaijani Salahuddin Gojazadeh and the Jordanian Yazan Al-Sayfi took the bronze. The Iraqi Mustafa Al-Tikriti was crowned with gold in the 75–80 kg category, with the Iranian Majid Hashem Beiki coming in second for the silver, and the Emirati Elias Habib winning the bronze.
In the women's competitions, the Moroccan Kalthoum Akhlouf snatched the gold in the 45–50 kg category, with the Iranian Farishta Hassan Zadeh taking the silver, while the Malaysian Damia Hosna and the Lebanese Dasofak Kochkaryan received the bronze. The Turkish Gulstan Turan was crowned with gold in the 50–55 kg category after defeating the Emirati Zainab Bouhamada, who took the silver, while the Uzbek Aziza Mamurova also received a medal.
The Turkish Kobra Kocakos won the gold medal in the 55–60 kg category, followed by the Iranian Zahra Akbari with the silver, while the bronzes went to the Algerian Balqis Mishrawi and the Saudi Suha Al-Far. The Turkish Bediha Tasildiz Shahin was crowned with gold in the 60–65 kg category, with the Iranian Fatemeh Hosseini Kahaki taking the silver, while the Uzbek Sevara Dilmorodova won the bronze medal.
