تحتضن العاصمة السعودية «الرياض» من دورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي، خلال الفترة من (7 إلى 27) نوفمبر الجاري، بمشاركة أكثر من (3.000) رياضي ورياضية يمثلون (57) دولة، يتنافسون في (25) لعبة رياضية تُقام في خمسة مواقع رئيسية بمدينة الرياض، ويقام حفل الافتتاح الرسمي يوم الجمعة القادم بميدان الجنادرية، وتم تجهيز القرية الرياضية بشكل عالمي لتكون مركزًا متكاملًا للإقامة والتدريب، إذ تضم مرافق رياضية تبعد نحو خمس دقائق سيرًا على الأقدام من مقار الوفود.
وأكدت اللجنة المنظمة جاهزية مواقع المنافسات الخمسة، إذ يحتضن مجمع الأمير فيصل بن فهد الأولمبي مسابقات كرة اليد، وكرة قدم الصالات، والسباحة، وتُقام منافسات الرياضات الإلكترونية، وتنس الطاولة، والمصارعة، ورفع الأثقال، ورفع الأثقال (بار)، والووشو، والمبارزة، والكرة الطائرة في بوليفارد رياض سيتي.
وتستضيف مدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية مسابقات ألعاب القوى وألعاب القوى (بار) والجوجيتسو والجودو والكاراتيه والتايكوندو، وتُقام منافسات كرة السلة 3×3 والملاكمة والمواي تاي في المسار الرياضي، وتحتضن الجنادرية مسابقات الفروسية والدواثلون وسباقات الهجن.
من جانبه، زار الأمير فهد بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد رئيس اللجنة العليا المنظمة لدورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي السادسة الرياض 2025، قرية الرياضيين في جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبدالرحمن، واطّلع على مختلف مرافق القرية، كما استمع إلى شرح من اللجان العاملة حول الخطط التشغيلية وآلية العمل خلال فترة الدورة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار حرصه على توفير بيئة مثالية للرياضيين وضمان تنظيم نسخة استثنائية تواكب مكانة الرياض عاصمةً للرياضة العالمية.

The Saudi capital, "Riyadh," is hosting the Islamic Solidarity Games from November 7 to 27, with the participation of more than 3,000 male and female athletes representing 57 countries, competing in 25 sports held at five main venues in the city of Riyadh. The official opening ceremony will take place next Friday at the Janadriyah grounds, and the sports village has been prepared to international standards to serve as a comprehensive center for accommodation and training, featuring sports facilities located about a five-minute walk from the delegations' accommodations.
The organizing committee confirmed the readiness of the five competition venues, as the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex will host handball, futsal, and swimming competitions, while esports, table tennis, wrestling, weightlifting, weightlifting (bar), wushu, fencing, and volleyball will take place at the Riyadh City Boulevard.
The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City will host athletics and athletics (para), jiu-jitsu, judo, karate, and taekwondo competitions, while 3x3 basketball, boxing, and Muay Thai will be held at the sports track. Janadriyah will host equestrian events, duathlon, and camel racing.
For his part, Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh 2025, visited the athletes' village at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and reviewed the various facilities of the village. He also listened to explanations from the working committees about the operational plans and workflow during the event period.
This visit comes as part of his commitment to providing an ideal environment for athletes and ensuring the organization of an exceptional edition that matches Riyadh's status as a capital of global sports.
