كسب فريق الأخدود ضيفه النجمة بهدفين لهدف في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على ملعب مدينة الأمير هذلول بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية بنجران، ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين (دوري روشن).
وجاءت أهداف الأخدود عن طريق مدافعه سعيد الربيعي بضربتين رأسيتين في الدقيقتين 19 و80 من زمن المباراة.
فيما جاء هدف النجمة الوحيد بهدف عكسي سجله لاعب الأخدود بيتروس في مرماه بالخطأ في الدقيقة 53 من زمن المباراة.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق فريق الأخدود انتصاره الأول في الدوري، رافعاً رصيده النقطي إلى (4) نقاط، ويصعد إلى المركز الـ16، فيما بقي النجمة على رصيده الخالي من النقاط في المركز الـ18 والأخير من سلم الترتيب لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
