أعرب مدرب ليفربول آرني سلوت عن ثقته في قدرة النجم المصري محمد صلاح، لاعب الفريق، على استعادة حسه التهديفي.
وكان صلاح قد فشل في التسجيل مع ليفربول في آخر 7 مباريات بمختلف المسابقات، ما دفع سلوت لإبقائه على دكة البدلاء في آخر مباراتين بدوري أبطال أوروبا.
صلاح ليس استثناءً في كرة القدم
وقال سلوت في تصريحات أبرزها موقع ناديه: «في كرة القدم، يُهدر اللاعبون الفرص، وصلاح بشر أيضاً، رغم أننا لسنا معتادين على إهداره للفرص، فما بالك ببضع مباريات متتالية؟»
وأضاف: «الأهم هو أن محمد دأب على تسجيل الأهداف لنادينا، لست قلقاً بشأن عودته لتسجيل الأهداف، فهذا ما اعتاد عليه طوال حياته، وما أتوقعه منه في الأسابيع والأشهر القادمة هو أن يُواصل تألقه مع نادينا».
وعن سؤاله حول ما إذا كان رحيل أرنولد سبباً مؤثراً في تراجع مستوى صلاح، أجاب: «ربما نعم، أعتقد أنه إذا كانت هناك تغييرات عدة في تشكيلة الفريق، فإنه من الطبيعي أن تجد روابط جديدة داخل الملعب، وهو ما ينطبق على صلاح».

Salah has failed to score for Liverpool in the last 7 matches across various competitions, which led Slot to keep him on the bench in the last two matches of the Champions League.
Salah is not an exception in football
Slot said in statements highlighted by his club's website: "In football, players miss chances, and Salah is human too, even though we are not used to him missing opportunities, let alone a few consecutive matches?"
He added: "The most important thing is that Mohamed has consistently scored goals for our club; I am not worried about his return to scoring, as this is what he has done throughout his life. What I expect from him in the coming weeks and months is to continue his brilliance with our club."
When asked whether Arnold's departure was a significant factor in Salah's decline in form, he replied: "Perhaps yes, I think that if there are several changes in the team's lineup, it is natural to find new connections on the pitch, and this applies to Salah."
