ألحق فريق الهلال الخسارة الثانية لمضيفه الاتحاد بعد أن انتصر عليه بهدفين دون مقابل في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة ضمن لقاءات الجولة السادسة لدوري روشن السعودي.
وأحرز هدفي الهلال كل من: محمد دومبيا (بالخطأ في مرمى فريقه 42)، ماركوس ليوناردو (د: 57).
وشهد اللقاء سيطرة اتحادية وسط تراجع هلالي واعتماده على الهجمات المرتدة، ورغم استحواذ الاتحاد على الكرة إلا أنه لم يشكل أي خطورة على مرمى ياسين بونو بعكس الهلال الذي اعتمد على سرعة مالكوم وليوناردو ونونيز، وكاد سافيتش أن يحرز هدف التقدم للهلال من ركلة حرة مباشرة ولكن كرته مرت بجوار القائم، ومن ركلة زاوية نفذها روبين نيفيز حول محمد دومبيا الكرة لمرمى فريقه لتسكن الشباك كهدف هلالي أول (د: 41).
وفي الشوط الثاني، لم تكن ردة فعل الاتحاد كما يجب، ليضاعف الهلال النتيجة بعد تسديدة قوية من روبين نيفيز حاول الحارس الشاب حامد الشنقيطي الإمساك بها ولكن أفلتت من يديه ليتابعها ليوناردو ويودعها الشباك كهدف ثانٍ للهلال (د: 57)، ورغم التبديلات التي أجراها كونسيساو بالزج بالرباعي المحلي أحمد الغامدي وفواز الصقور وصالح الشهري وعبدالعزيز البيشي إلا أن الاتحاد عجز عن تقليص الفارق، وكاد صالح الشهري أن يضع بصمته التهديفية ولكن تسديدته ذهبت إلى يدي الحارس بونو، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الهلال بهدفين دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق الهلال فوزه الرابع ويصل للنقطة 14 في المركز الثالث، فيما تلقى الاتحاد الخسارة الثانية وتجمد رصيده عند 10 نقاط وتراجع للمركز السابع. وفي الجولة القادمة سيلاقي الهلال ضيفه الشباب في ديربي الرياض، فيما يحل الاتحاد ضيفاً على فريق الخليج.
The Al-Hilal team inflicted the second defeat on its host, Al-Ittihad, after winning 2-0 in the match held at the Al-Naema Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah as part of the sixth round of the Roshan Saudi League.
Al-Hilal's goals were scored by: Mohamed Doumbia (own goal in the 42nd minute), and Marcos Leonardo (57th minute).
The match witnessed Al-Ittihad's dominance while Al-Hilal relied on counter-attacks. Despite Al-Ittihad's possession of the ball, they did not pose any threat to Yassine Bono's goal, unlike Al-Hilal, which relied on the speed of Malcolm, Leonardo, and Nunez. Savic almost scored the opening goal for Al-Hilal from a direct free kick, but his shot went past the post. From a corner taken by Ruben Neves, Mohamed Doumbia turned the ball into his own net, resulting in the first goal for Al-Hilal (41st minute).
In the second half, Al-Ittihad's response was not as it should have been, allowing Al-Hilal to double the score after a powerful shot from Ruben Neves. The young goalkeeper Hamid Al-Shanqeeti tried to catch it, but it slipped from his hands, allowing Leonardo to follow up and score the second goal for Al-Hilal (57th minute). Despite the substitutions made by Conceição, bringing in local players Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Fawaz Al-Suqour, Saleh Al-Shehri, and Abdulaziz Al-Bishi, Al-Ittihad failed to reduce the deficit. Saleh Al-Shehri almost made his mark on the score sheet, but his shot went into the hands of goalkeeper Bono, and the match ended with Al-Hilal winning 2-0.
With this result, Al-Hilal achieves its fourth victory and reaches 14 points, placing them in third position, while Al-Ittihad suffers its second defeat, remaining at 10 points and dropping to seventh place. In the next round, Al-Hilal will host Al-Shabab in the Riyadh derby, while Al-Ittihad will visit Al-Khaleej.
