أوضح مدرب فريق الشباب الإسباني إيمانول ألغواسيل، أن التعادل الإيجابي أمام الأهلي (1-1) ضمن قمة الجولة الخامسة من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين، يُعد نتيجة مقبولة في ظل ظروف الفريق الحالية، مشيرًا إلى أن فريقه لا يزال في طور البناء ويضم عناصر شابة تملك مستقبلًا واعدًا.
وبيّن ألغواسيل خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد عقب المواجهة التي أقيمت في ملعب الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة أن رصيد الفريق من النقاط لا يعكس حجم العمل والجهد المبذول، قائلًا: «خمس نقاط بعد خمس جولات تُعد قليلة، لكن يجب ألا ننسى من أين بدأنا، فالفريق جديد ومعدل الأعمار صغير، ولدينا مستقبل كبير، وسنكون أفضل مع عودة اللاعبين المصابين واستمرار العمل الجماعي».
وعبّر المدرب عن رضاه عن أداء لاعبيه، مبينًا أنه يعتمد على نظام لعب محدد يقوم بدراسته وفق كل مواجهة، مشيرًا إلى أنه اعتمد خطة تمنح الأهلي الاستحواذ، ليتمكنوا من تشكيل الخطورة مع تنظيم صفوف الفريق في الخلف جيدًا.
وأشار ألغواسيل إلى أن فريقه لم يبدأ اللقاء بالشكل الأفضل، لكن اللاعبين قدّموا أداءً منضبطًا حتى بعد النقص العددي، مؤكدًا أنهم التزموا بالخطة التكتيكية حتى النهاية، وسعوا لتحقيق الفوز رغم الظروف.
