وقاد ساديو ماني منتخب السنغال لاكتساح موريتانيا برباعية نظيفة، حيث سجّل نجم النصر هدفين في الدقيقتين 45+1 و48، قبل أن يضيف إيليمان ندياي الهدف الثالث لأسود التيرانغا في الدقيقة 64، ويختتم الحبيب ديالو الرباعية قبل خمس دقائق من نهاية الوقت الأصلي للمباراة.
ورفع المنتخب السنغالي رصيده إلى 22 نقطة، بفارق نقطتين فقط عن أقرب منافسيه الكونغو الديمقراطية، ليحسم صدارة المجموعة الثانية وبطاقة التأهل المباشر إلى كأس العالم 2026، بحسب نظام التصفيات الأفريقية الذي يمنح بطاقة مباشرة لأصحاب الصدارة، فيما يخوض أفضل أربعة منتخبات تحتل المركز الثاني ملحقاً أفريقياً، يتأهل منه منتخب واحد إلى المحفل العالمي.
كوت ديفوار تهزم كينيا بثلاثية
وفي مباراة أخرى، قاد فرانك كيسيه منتخب كوت ديفوار للفوز على كينيا بثلاثية نظيفة، إذ افتتح نجم الأهلي التسجيل للمنتخب الإيفواري في الدقيقة السابعة، ثم أضاف يان دياموندي الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 54، قبل أن يُحرز أمادو ديالو الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة 84.
وبهذا الفوز، تصدر منتخب كوت ديفوار المجموعة السادسة برصيد 26 نقطة، متفوقاً بفارق نقطة واحدة فقط عن الغابون، ليضمن التأهل إلى كأس العالم 2026 بعد منافسة شرسة.
The national teams of Senegal and Ivory Coast have qualified for the 2026 World Cup after topping their groups in the African qualifiers yesterday (Tuesday).
Sadio Mané led the Senegalese team to a 4-0 victory over Mauritania, scoring two goals in the 45+1 and 48 minutes, before Iliman Ndiaye added the third goal for the Teranga Lions in the 64th minute, and Habib Diallo capped off the quartet five minutes before the end of regular time.
The Senegalese team raised its tally to 22 points, just two points ahead of its closest competitor, the Democratic Republic of Congo, securing the top spot in Group B and a direct qualification ticket to the 2026 World Cup, according to the African qualifying system which grants a direct ticket to the group leaders, while the best four teams finishing second will enter an African playoff, from which one team will qualify for the global event.
Ivory Coast defeats Kenya with a three-goal margin
In another match, Franck Kessié led the Ivory Coast team to a 3-0 victory over Kenya, as the Al Ahly star opened the scoring for the Ivorian team in the seventh minute, then Yan Diamonde added the second goal in the 54th minute, before Amadou Diallo scored the third goal in the 84th minute.
With this victory, the Ivory Coast team topped Group F with 26 points, just one point ahead of Gabon, ensuring their qualification for the 2026 World Cup after fierce competition.
