تأهل منتخب جنوب أفريقيا إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026، بعد الفوز على رواندا بثلاثية نظيفة، (الثلاثاء)، ضمن منافسات الجولة العاشرة والأخيرة من التصفيات الأفريقية.
جاءت ثلاثية «البافانا بافانا» بتوقيع تالانت مباتا، وأوسوين ريغان أبوليس، وإيفيدينس ماكجوبا، في الدقائق 5 و26 و72.
وستكون هذه المشاركة الأولى لجنوب أفريقيا في نهائيات كأس العالم منذ تأهلها تلقائياً إلى مونديال 2010 باعتبارها الدولة المضيفة.
نيجيريا إلى الملحق
وفي نفس المجموعة، سيخوض المنتخب النيجيري الملحق القاري بحثاً عن مقعد في مونديال 2026، بعد فوزه على بنين برباعية نظيفة.
فيكتور أوسيمين كان نجم اللقاء بلا منازع، حيث سجل «هاتريك» للنسور الخضراء في الدقائق 3 و37 و51، بينما أضاف فرانك أونيكا الهدف الرابع في الدقيقة 90+1.

2- نيجيريا – 17 نقطة
3- بنين – 17 نقطة
4- ليسوتو – 12 نقطة
5- رواندا – 11 نقطة

وبحسب نظام التصفيات الأفريقية، يتأهل متصدر كل مجموعة مباشرة إلى كأس العالم 2026، فيما يخوض أفضل أربعة منتخبات تحتل المركز الثاني ملحقاً أفريقياً، يتأهل منه منتخب واحد إلى الملحق العالمي.
The South African national team has qualified for the 2026 World Cup after defeating Rwanda with a clean sheet of three goals, (on Tuesday), in the tenth and final round of the African qualifiers.
The three goals for "Bafana Bafana" were scored by Talant Mbata, Oswin Regan Apulis, and Evidence Makgoba, in the 5th, 26th, and 72nd minutes.
This will be South Africa's first participation in the World Cup finals since qualifying automatically for the 2010 World Cup as the host nation.
Nigeria to the playoff
In the same group, the Nigerian national team will enter the continental playoff in search of a spot in the 2026 World Cup after winning against Benin with a score of four goals to none.
Victor Osimhen was the undisputed star of the match, scoring a hat-trick for the Super Eagles in the 3rd, 37th, and 51st minutes, while Frank Onyeka added the fourth goal in the 90+1 minute.

According to the African qualifying system, the leader of each group qualifies directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the best four teams that finish in second place will enter a continental playoff, from which one team will qualify for the global playoff.
