حقق منتخب تونس المتأهل مسبقاً لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026 عدة أرقام قياسية في ختام مشواره في التصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة للمونديال، بعد فوزه عصر اليوم (الاثنين) على منتخب ناميبيا بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جرى على الملعب الأولمبي في تونس.
وشهد مشوار منتخب تونس رقماً قياسياً في حصد النقاط إذ لم يُهدر فريق المدرب سامي الطرابلسي سوى نقطتين فقط حاصداً 28 نقطة من أصل 30 نقطة كأكثر المنتخبات الأفريقية حصداً للنقاط في التصفيات.
كما ساهم تألق الحارس أيمن دحمان حامي عرين فريق الحزم السعودي سابقاً في الحفاظ على نظافة شباكه خلال مشوار التصفيات بأكمله إذ تصدر منتخب تونس قائمة الشباك النظيفة بتحقيقه 10 من 10 في سابقة تاريخية.
ولم يكتفِ منتخب تونس بهذه الأرقام إذ اعتلى قائمة أكثر الفرق فوزاً في التصفيات بتحقيقه 9 انتصارات، وهو الرقم الذي لم يصل إليه أي منتخب أفريقي في التصفيات الحالية.
وشهد لقاء تونس وناميبيا سيطرة تونسية على مجريات اللقاء ورغم التأهل المسبق للمونديال إلا إن المنتخب التونسي دخل اللقاء بحثاً عن الفوز ولا غيره وتمكن من تحقيق ذلك والفوز بثلاثية تناوب على إحرازها كل من: علي العابدي من ركلة جزاء (د: 28)، حنبعل المجبري (د: 56)، فرجاني ساسي (د: 64).
وبهذه النتيجة يؤكد منتخب تونس تصدره للمجموعة الثامنة، فيما تلقى منتخب ناميبيا الخسارة الثالثة وتجمد رصيده عند 15 وفي المركز الثاني، وينتظر مصيره في التأهل للملحق بعد انتهاء جميع لقاءات المجموعات التسعة.

The Tunisian national team, which has already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, achieved several records at the end of its journey in the African qualifiers for the World Cup, after winning this afternoon (Monday) against the Namibia national team with three goals to none, in a match that took place at the Olympic Stadium in Tunisia.
The Tunisian team's journey saw a record in points earned, as coach Sami Al-Trabelsi's team only dropped two points, collecting 28 points out of a possible 30, making it the African team with the most points in the qualifiers.
The outstanding performance of goalkeeper Ayman Dahman, formerly of Al-Hazm Saudi team, also contributed to keeping a clean sheet throughout the qualifiers, as the Tunisian team topped the list of clean sheets by achieving 10 out of 10 in a historic precedent.
Tunisia did not stop at these numbers, as it topped the list of teams with the most wins in the qualifiers, achieving 9 victories, a number that no African team has reached in the current qualifiers.
The match between Tunisia and Namibia witnessed Tunisian dominance over the course of the game, and despite the prior qualification for the World Cup, the Tunisian team entered the match seeking victory and nothing else, managing to achieve that with a three-goal win scored by: Ali Al-Abdi from a penalty (28'), Hannibal Mejbri (56'), and Ferjani Sassi (64').
