في واقعة فوضوية، تحوّل حفل زفاف بمدينة بودغايا في ولاية بيهار الهندية إلى مشهد أشبه بفيلم أكشن منخفض الميزانية، بعدما أدى نفاد حلوى «الرسغولا» الشهيرة إلى اندلاع شجار عنيف بين أسرتَي العروس والعريس، وانهيار الاحتفال بالكامل.
ووفقاً لمصادر إعلامية هندية، وقعت الحادثة يوم 29 نوفمبر داخل أحد الفنادق في منطقة باكراور، حيث أظهرت كاميرات المراقبة لحظات الفوضى، فيما تبادل الضيوف الضرب وألقوا الكراسي البلاستيكية في القاعة، محولين الاحتفال إلى ساحة اقتتال خلال دقائق معدودة.
وأفادت التقارير بأن الشجار اندلع عند توجه الحاضرين إلى مائدة العشاء بعد اكتشاف نفاد الحلوى، ما أثار غضب الضيوف بشكل فوري، فيما ظهر أكثر من 20 شخصاً يُعتقد أنهم من جهة العريس وهم يقلبون الكراسي ويعبثون بالمستلزمات، بينما فرّ بعض الضيوف طلباً للأمان.
وذكرت المصادر أن العروسين لم يتمكنا من التوجه إلى «المانداب» لإتمام الطقوس التقليدية، مما أدى إلى إلغاء الزفاف نهائياً. واتهمت والدة العريس بعض أفراد أسرة العروس بالاستيلاء على مجوهرات كانت مخصصة كهدية أثناء الفوضى، فيما أكدت شرطة بودغايا أنها تحقق مع الطرفين لمعرفة ملابسات الحادثة بدقة.

According to Indian media sources, the incident occurred on November 29 inside a hotel in the Pakraur area, where surveillance cameras captured the moments of chaos as guests exchanged blows and threw plastic chairs in the hall, turning the celebration into a battleground within minutes.
Reports indicated that the fight broke out when attendees approached the dinner table after discovering the sweets had run out, which immediately angered the guests. More than 20 individuals, believed to be from the groom's side, were seen upending chairs and messing with the supplies, while some guests fled in search of safety.
Sources mentioned that the bride and groom were unable to proceed to the "mandap" to complete the traditional rituals, resulting in the wedding being canceled altogether. The groom's mother accused some members of the bride's family of seizing jewelry that was meant as a gift during the chaos, while Bodhgaya police confirmed they are investigating both parties to ascertain the details of the incident accurately.
