قلب منتخب الإمارات تأخره بهدف لفوز مهم على نظيره المنتخب العُماني بنتيجة 2/ 1 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما مساء اليوم (السبت) على استاد جاسم بن حمد، ضمن الجولة الثانية من منافسات المجموعة الأولى في ملحق التصفيات الآسيوية المؤهلة إلى كأس العالم 2026.
وتقدم المنتخب العُماني عبر هدف لاعب الإمارات كوامي أوتون كواديو في الدقيقة 12 بالخطأ في مرمى فريقه، قبل أن يرد منتخب الإمارات بهدفين خلال الشوط الثاني عن طريق ماركوس ميلوني (76) وكايو لوكاس (83).
تقاسم المنتخبان السيطرة على مجريات اللعب في بداية الشوط الأول مع أفضلية نسبية لصالح المنتخب العماني الذي كان الأفضل انتشاراً حتى نجح في افتتاح التسجيل حينما عكس أمجد الحارس كرة قوية من الجهة اليمنى ارتدت من كوامي كواديو لتستقر في شباك فريقه بالخطأ (د:12).
بعد الهدف العماني، نشط أداء المنتخب الإماراتي إذ سدد كايو لوكاس كرة من خارج منطقة الجزاء ارتدت من الدفاع، وسدد نيكولاس خيمينيز كرة من خارج منطقة الجزاء مرت بسلام على المرمى العماني، وعاد خيمينيز للظهور مجدداً في تهديد مرمى إبراهيم المخيني بعد أن بذل مجهوداً كبيراً وتوغل بالكرة داخل منطقة الجزاء ثم سددها قوية مرت بجوار القائم.
وبحث المنتخب الإماراتي عن التعديل منذ بداية الشوط الثاني وكانت أولى المحاولات عبر حارب عبدالله الذي سدد كرة قوية تصدى لها الحارس إبراهيم المخيني، الذي عاد للتألق وتصدى لتسديدة أخرى من حارب عبدالله أيضاً.
وتمكن المنتخب الإماراتي من تعديل النتيجة بعد سلسلة من المحاولات الهجومية على المرمى العماني أسفرت إحداها عن تسجيل هدف التعادل حينما عكس علي صالح كرة عرضية من الجهة اليسرى على رأس ماركوس ميلوني الذي عكسها بدوره إلى داخل الشباك (د:76)، وضاعف المنتخب الإماراتي النتيجة عبر تسجيل الهدف الثاني بعد أن تسلم كايو لوكاس كرة من الجهة اليسرى وأرسلها مباشرة لتستقر على يسار الحارس المخيني هدفاً ثانياً (د:82)، وبعد 12 دقيقة وقتاً بدل ضائع أعلن الحكم الأسترالي علي رضا نهاية اللقاء بفوز الإمارات بهدفين لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق الإمارات فوزه الأول ويتصدر ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 3 نقاط من مباراة واحدة، فيما تجمد رصيد عمان عند نقطة واحدة من تعادل وخسارة. وستقام الجولة الثالثة (الأخيرة) يوم الثلاثاء بلقاء قطر والإمارات.
ويتأهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم صاحب المركز الأول في كل من المجموعتين الأولى والثانية، على أن ينتقل المنتخبان الحاصلان على المركز الثاني من أجل خوض الدور الإقصائي من ملحق التصفيات الآسيوية، لتحديد الفريق المتأهل إلى المحفل العالمي.

The UAE national team turned around a one-goal deficit to achieve an important victory over their Omani counterpart with a score of 2-1 in the match held this evening (Saturday) at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, as part of the second round of Group A in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The Omani team took the lead through an own goal by UAE player Kwame Otuon Kwadio in the 12th minute, before the UAE responded with two goals in the second half from Marcus Meloni (76) and Kaio Lucas (83).
Both teams shared control of the game in the early stages of the first half, with a slight advantage for the Omani team, which was better positioned until they managed to open the scoring when Amjad the goalkeeper made a strong cross from the right that deflected off Kwame Kwadio and settled into his own net (12').
After the Omani goal, the UAE team intensified their performance as Kaio Lucas shot from outside the penalty area, which was deflected by the defense, and Nicolas Jimenez took a shot from outside the box that passed harmlessly by the Omani goal. Jimenez then reappeared, threatening Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini's goal after making a significant effort and dribbling the ball into the penalty area, but his powerful shot went just past the post.
The UAE team sought to equalize from the start of the second half, with the first attempt coming from Harib Abdullah, whose powerful shot was saved by goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini, who shone again by stopping another shot from Harib Abdullah as well.
