Member of the Honorary Board of Al-Ittihad Club and former General Supervisor of Youth Categories, Mohammed Talat Al-Lami, confirmed to "Okaz" that the Saudi national team is capable of achieving victory against the Indonesian and Iraqi teams in the Asian playoff qualifying for the World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada 2026.

Al-Lami urged the players of the Green team to respect the Indonesian team and to deliver the performance that contributes to our national team's victory and points, continuing the journey in the Asian playoff to reach the World Cup for the seventh time in the history of Saudi football.

Al-Lami expressed his confidence in the stars of the Green team and coach Renard in making a great effort to overcome the Indonesian team, achieve victory, and bring joy to sports fans by reaching the 2026 World Cup.
