كشفت تقارير صحفية عالمية حقيقة الأنباء المترددة حول دخول نادي الاتحاد في مفاوضات للتعاقد مع المدرب الألماني يورغن كلوب لخلافة الفرنسي لوران بلان.
وكان الاتحاد قد أعلن رسميا صباح الأحد الماضي إقالة بلان وإنهاء العلاقة التعاقدية معه، وتعيين حسن خليفة لقيادة الفريق فنيا لحين التعاقد مع مدرب أجنبي جديد.
وذكرت صحيفة «ذا صن» البريطانية أن كلوب أكد في أكثر من حديث عدم رغبته بالعودة إلى التدريب في الوقت الحالي بعد مغادرة أبواب ليفربول الإنجليزي.
وفي يناير الماضي، بدأ كلوب مهمته الجديدة رئيسا عالميا لكرة القدم في مجموعة «ريد بول»، وهو منصب يمتد تأثيره على شبكة واسعة من الأندية مثل لايبزيغ الألماني، سالزبورغ النمساوي، باريس إف سي الفرنسي، نيويورك ريد بولز الأمريكي، إضافة إلى أندية في البرازيل واليابان.
وفي حواره مع موقع «ذا أتلتيك»، شدد كلوب على أنه لا يرغب في العودة إلى عالم التدريب، مشيرا إلى أنه لا يفتقد أي شيء في حياته كمدرب منذ رحيله عن ليفربول العام 2024.
وأوضح: «أنا الآن في الـ58 من عمري، إذا عدت للتدريب في سن الـ65، سيقول الجميع: ألم تقل إنك لن تفعل ذلك مجددا؟ آسف، كنت حينها متأكدا بنسبة 100%. هذا ما أعتقده الآن. لا أفتقد أي شيء».

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that Klopp has confirmed in several interviews his lack of desire to return to coaching at this time after leaving Liverpool FC.

In his interview with "The Athletic," Klopp emphasized that he does not wish to return to the world of coaching, noting that he does not miss anything in his life as a coach since leaving Liverpool in 2024.
He explained: "I am now 58 years old; if I return to coaching at 65, everyone will say: Didn't you say you wouldn't do that again? Sorry, I was 100% sure at that time. That's what I believe now. I don't miss anything."
