تنطلق غداً الثلاثاء 30 سبتمبر 2025 منافسات النسخة الثانية من بطولة دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية التي ينظمها اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم، وتقام أربع مباريات لحساب الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات.
في المجموعة الأولى، يلتقي العين الإماراتي مع سترة البحريني على استاد هزاع بن زايد بمدينة العين عند السابعة والنصف مساءً، فيما يستضيف زاخو العراقي على ملعبه الدولي فريق القادسية الكويتي عند الثامنة والنصف مساءً، في مواجهة قوية تعيد للأذهان نهائي النسخة الماضية التي حل فيها القادسية وصيفاً.
أما في المجموعة الثانية، فيستهل الريان القطري مشواره بلقاء تضامن حضرموت اليمني على استاد أحمد بن علي بالدوحة عند السادسة مساءً الأربعاء 1 أكتوبر، تليها مواجهة مرتقبة تجمع الشباب السعودي والنهضة العماني على استاد الشباب بالرياض عند الثامنة مساءً.
وتأتي هذه الانطلاقة بعد تتويج دهوك العراقي بلقب النسخة الأولى، وتمثل الجولة الافتتاحية محطة مهمة لرسم ملامح المنافسة مبكراً وتحديد حظوظ الأندية في بلوغ الدور الثاني من البطولة.

The second edition of the Gulf Clubs Champions League, organized by the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation, kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, with four matches for the first round of the group stage.
In Group A, Al Ain from the UAE will face Bahrain's Sitra at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain at 7:30 PM, while Iraq's Zakho will host Kuwait's Al Qadsia at their international stadium at 8:30 PM, in a strong match that recalls the final of the previous edition in which Al Qadsia finished as runners-up.
In Group B, Qatari team Al Rayyan will begin their journey with a match against Yemen's Tadamun Hadramout at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Doha at 6 PM on Wednesday, October 1, followed by an anticipated clash between Saudi Arabia's Al Shabab and Oman's Al Nahda at Al Shabab Stadium in Riyadh at 8 PM.
This kickoff comes after Iraq's Duhok was crowned the champion of the first edition, and the opening round represents an important milestone for early competition dynamics and determining the clubs' chances of reaching the second round of the tournament.
