استطاع البطل عبدالله أيمن كامل مقارعة الكبار في رياضة سباقات الفورمولا4، ونجح في التفوق عليهم رغم صغر سنّه من خلال مشاركات عديدة، ليصبح نجماً سعودياً لامعاً، حقق العديد من الإنجازات للمملكة، ولفت أنظار المهتمين برياضة السيارات التي تشهد الإثارة والندية.
«عكاظ» التقته، وتحدّث عن جوانب عدة تتعلق بعشقه لرياضة السيارات والإنجازات التي حققها.
• بدايةً حدثنا عن نفسك، وعن انطلاقتك في رياضة السيارات؟
•• عبدالله أيمن كامل، مواليد جدة عام 2008،أعشق رياضة السيارات، وأولى مشاركاتي في رياضة الكارتينغ عام 2022 على حلبة ذا تراك في جدة في فئة الجونيور.
• ما أكبر تحدٍّ واجهك منذ أن بدأت متسابقاً؟
•• كل خطوة لها تحدياتها، عموماً يجب العمل بجهد كبير، وبجدية كاملة لتجاوز التحديات، ومن إحدى الصعوبات كانت قيادتي لسيارة في المطر، إذ كانت جديدة بالنسبة لي، لكن الآن بعد التدريب المستمر أصبحت استمتع جداً في القيادة في الأجواء الماطرة.
• ما أهم السباقات التي حققت فيها إنجازات كبيرة في رياضة السيارات؟
•• بطل المملكة 2022 في فئة الجونيور IAME، وبطل المملكة في فئة السينيور 2023 فئة السينيور ROTAX، بطل الألعاب السعودية 2023. وحصلت على المركز الثالث في الجولة الأولى من بطولة الشرق الأوسط التي أقيمت في الإمارات.
• ما موقع السعودية في رياضة السيارات؟
•• بالتأكيد رياضة كرة القدم هي الأولى في المملكة، لكن الشعب السعودي لديه أيضاً شغف عالٍ بالسيارات والسباقات، واستضافة السعودية لأهم السباقات العالمية لعبت دوراً كبيراً جداً في رفع الوعي والاهتمام برياضة السيارات.
• كيف تستعد لكل سباقات رياضة السيارات؟
•• أحافظ على نظام غذائي صحي بشكل يومي، وعند الوصول للحلبة نبدأ في المشي سيراً على الأقدام على الحلبة، ثم ينطلق التدريب، وبين الجولات نقوم بمراجعة القيادة، والتحليل من أجل القيادة والأداء بشكل أفضل.
• ما نصيحتك للمتسابقين القادمين في رياضة السيارات؟
•• البدء في الخطوة الأولى من خلال رياضة «الكارتنغ»، وعلى الشباب القادمين لرياضة السيارات الانضمام لأكاديمية أسد في حلبة ذا تراك في جدة
• ما حلمك؟
•• الوصول إلى الفورمولا 1، وأن أكون خير سفير لبلادي في رياضة السيارات.
• موقف لا تنساه في أحد السباقات..
•• سباق الفورمولا4 على حلبة بول ريكارد، إذ انطلقت من المركز 21، وحصلت على المركز الثالث عشر.
• مَن هم أبرز الداعمين لك؟
•• أشكر والدي ووالدتي لتشجيعي بشكل كبير، وكذلك الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات؛ لإعطاء الفرصة للشباب للمشاركة في رياضة السيارات.
• حدِّثنا عن أهدافك وطموحاتك المستقبلية..
•• التركيز على الفورمولا 4 ما بين الشرق الأوسط، وأوروبا.
• كلمة توجهها بمناسبة اليوم الوطني السعودي؟
•• اليوم الوطني السعودي 95 يوم فخر واعتزاز لكل مواطن، ونفاخر بتاريخ عظيم صنع المجد للأجيال القادمة، ودام عزك يا وطننا الغالي، وكل عام والمملكة في رفعة وازدهار.

The champion Abdullah Ayman Kamel has managed to compete with the big names in Formula 4 racing and has succeeded in surpassing them despite his young age through numerous participations, becoming a shining Saudi star who has achieved many accomplishments for the Kingdom and attracted the attention of those interested in motorsports, which is filled with excitement and competitiveness.
“Okaz” met him, and he talked about several aspects related to his passion for motorsports and the achievements he has made.
• First, tell us about yourself and your start in motorsports?
•• Abdullah Ayman Kamel, born in Jeddah in 2008, I love motorsports, and my first participation in karting was in 2022 at The Track in Jeddah in the junior category.
• What has been the biggest challenge you faced since you started racing?
•• Every step has its challenges; generally, one must work hard and with complete seriousness to overcome challenges. One of the difficulties was driving a car in the rain, as it was new to me, but now, after continuous training, I really enjoy driving in rainy conditions.
• What are the most important races where you achieved significant accomplishments in motorsports?
•• I was the 2022 Kingdom Champion in the junior IAME category, and the Kingdom Champion in the senior ROTAX category in 2023, as well as the Champion of the Saudi Games 2023. I also secured third place in the first round of the Middle East Championship held in the UAE.
• What is Saudi Arabia's position in motorsports?
•• Certainly, football is the number one sport in the Kingdom, but the Saudi people also have a high passion for cars and racing. Saudi Arabia's hosting of the most important global races has played a very significant role in raising awareness and interest in motorsports.
• How do you prepare for all motorsport races?
•• I maintain a healthy diet daily, and upon arriving at the track, we start by walking on the track, then the training begins. Between the rounds, we review driving and analyze to improve performance.
• What is your advice for upcoming racers in motorsports?
•• Start with the first step through karting, and young people entering motorsports should join the Asad Academy at The Track in Jeddah.
• What is your dream?
•• To reach Formula 1 and to be a good ambassador for my country in motorsports.
• A moment you will never forget in one of the races..
•• The Formula 4 race at Paul Ricard, where I started from 21st place and finished in 13th place.
• Who are your main supporters?
•• I thank my father and mother for their great support, as well as the Saudi Automobile Federation for giving young people the opportunity to participate in motorsports.

•• Focusing on Formula 4 between the Middle East and Europe.
