أكد مدرب الدحيل جمال بلماضي في رده على سؤال «عكاظ» خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، صعوبة مواجهة الهلال، مشيراً إلى أن فريقه قدم إلى الرياض من أجل تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية أمام فريق كبير بحجم الهلال.
وقال بلماضي: «أحرزنا هدفاً في الشوط الأول وحاولنا مضاعفة النتيجة في الشوط الثاني لكن لم نوفق، اللاعبون قدموا جهداً كبيراً رغم الضغط، وسنواصل العمل لتقديم الأفضل.. الهلال فريق كبير وتصعب مجاراته».
وأضاف: «كانت لدينا فرص خلال الشوط الأول وسجلنا هدفاً منها، وعلى الأقل كنا نستحق أن نخرج بنقطة. إلا أن الغيابات أثرت علينا، خصوصاً غياب فيراتي الذي يملك جودة عالية وكان سيساعد الفريق».
وأشار مدرب الدحيل إلى أنه اضطر للاعتماد على لاعبين شباب تنقصهم الخبرة، قائلاً: «أهنئهم على الأداء رغم صعوبة المباراة».
وختم حديثه: «تعرضنا لضغط كبير في الشوط الثاني بعد هدف التعادل، وحاول اللاعبون العودة بالنتيجة لكننا لم نستطع. بشكل عام كانت هناك فرص أضعناها، وبعد الهدف الثاني واجهنا صعوبة أكبر، لتكون النتيجة طبيعية أمام فريق بحجم الهلال».

The coach of Al-Duhail, Jamal Belmadi, confirmed in response to a question from "Okaz" during the press conference that facing Al-Hilal is difficult, pointing out that his team came to Riyadh to achieve a positive result against a big team like Al-Hilal.
Belmadi said: "We scored a goal in the first half and tried to double the score in the second half, but we were not successful. The players made a great effort despite the pressure, and we will continue to work to provide the best... Al-Hilal is a big team, and it is difficult to keep up with them."
He added: "We had chances during the first half and scored a goal from one of them, and at least we deserved to come out with a point. However, the absences affected us, especially the absence of Verratti, who has high quality and would have helped the team."
The Al-Duhail coach indicated that he had to rely on young players who lack experience, saying: "I congratulate them on their performance despite the difficulty of the match."
He concluded his remarks: "We faced a lot of pressure in the second half after the equalizing goal, and the players tried to come back in the score, but we couldn't. Overall, there were opportunities we missed, and after the second goal, we faced even greater difficulty, making the result natural against a team the size of Al-Hilal."
