يلتقي نادي الشارقة الإماراتي مع ضيفه الغرافة القطري عند تمام الساعة 4:45 من مساء يوم غد (الإثنين) على استاد مدينة الشارقة، ضمن الجولة الأولى من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
ويسعى الشارقة إلى مواصلة زخمه بعد تتويجه بلقب دوري أبطال آسيا الثاني 2024-2025، فيما يدخل الغرافة اللقاء بهدف تفادي تكرار خروجه من مرحلة الدوري في النسخة الماضية.
بدأ الفريقان موسمهما المحلي بشكل جيد نسبياً، حيث يتواجد الشارقة في النصف الأعلى من جدول الترتيب في الدوري الإماراتي.
أما الغرافة فقد حقق فوزاً مهماً على السيلية 2/0 يوم الجمعة ليحتل المركز الثالث في دوري نجوم قطر، وهو يتطلع إلى مواجهة الشارقة للمرة الأولى على الصعيد القاري.
ويدخل الشارقة المباراة بعد تعادله 2/2 مع خورفكان في الدوري يوم الجمعة، وهو يأمل في استثمار عاملي الأرض والجمهور لتعويض سجله الضعيف أمام الفرق القطرية في البطولة القارية، حيث لم يحقق سوى فوز واحد في ست مواجهات سابقة.
في المقابل يسعى الغرافة لتجاوز إخفاقاته في النسخة الماضية من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، إذ لم يتمكن من الفوز سوى في مباراتين فقط وأنهى مشواره في المركز العاشر بالترتيب العام.

The Sharjah Club from the UAE will meet its Qatari guest Al Gharafa at exactly 4:45 PM tomorrow (Monday) at the Sharjah City Stadium, as part of the first round of the Western Zone competitions in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League.
Sharjah aims to maintain its momentum after winning the AFC Champions League title for the second time in 2024-2025, while Al Gharafa enters the match with the goal of avoiding a repeat of its exit from the league stage in the previous edition.
Both teams have started their domestic season relatively well, with Sharjah positioned in the upper half of the UAE league standings.
On the other hand, Al Gharafa achieved an important victory over Al Sailiya 2-0 on Friday, placing them third in the Qatar Stars League, and they are looking forward to facing Sharjah for the first time on the continental level.
Sharjah enters the match after drawing 2-2 with Khorfakkan in the league on Friday, hoping to capitalize on the advantages of home ground and crowd to compensate for its weak record against Qatari teams in the continental tournament, having only achieved one victory in six previous encounters.
In contrast, Al Gharafa seeks to overcome its failures in the last edition of the AFC Champions League, as it could only win two matches and finished its campaign in tenth place in the overall standings.
