هنأ رئيس مجلس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر بن حسن المسحل لاعبي المنتخب الوطني تحت 19 عاما والجهازين الفني والإداري، بالفوز بلقب كأس الخليج تحت 20 عاما في نسختها الأولى، التي اختتمت اليوم بمدينة أبها، حيث شهد نهائي البطولة فوز المنتخب الوطني على شقيقه اليمني بنتيجة 3-1.
وأكد المسحل أن مسيرة المنجزات للمنتخبات الوطنية هي تتويج لدعم القيادة الرشيدة - حفظها الله- واهتمام ومتابعة وزير الرياضة وتأكيد على جودة المواهب الكروية السعودية والاهتمام الإيجابي من الأندية، إضافة إلى المسار المتصاعد لنتائج الخطط الإستراتيجية التي تم وضعها لمنتخبات الفئات السنية من قبل الإدارة الفنية بالاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم والإدارات المساندة.
وقدّم المسحل شكره وتقديره لأمير منطقة عسير، ولنائبه على تشريفه المباراة النهائية للبطولة وتتويج لاعبي المنتخب الوطني بالكأس، ولاعبي المنتخب اليمني بالمركز الثاني، موجها الشكر كذلك لمساعد وزير الرياضة على التهنئة بالنجاح التنظيمي للبطولة وظهورها بشكل متميز بجانب المستويات الفنية القوية التي ظهرت فيها المنتخبات الخليجية، بحانب الحضور الجماهيري الداعم للمنتخب الوطني البطل.
واختتم رئيس الاتحاد السعودي بالتأكيد على أن الظهور الفني القوي للمنتخب الوطني تحت 19 عاما والتتويج بلقب بطولة تنافسية خليجية للاعبين تحت 20 عاما، يظهر العزيمة والموهبة والحافزية المعنوية والبدنية للاعب السعودي، وهو ما يعزز صناعة المكانة المستقبلية الرائعة للاعبين إذ يواصلون البناء الفني وفق الإستراتيجية المعدة للمنتخبات والاستحقاقات المختلفة لخدمة كرة القدم السعودية والإسهام بمنجزاتها.

The President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mashal, congratulated the players of the national team under 19 years old and the technical and administrative staff for winning the title of the Gulf Cup under 20 years old in its first edition, which concluded today in the city of Abha. The final match of the tournament saw the national team defeat their Yemeni counterparts with a score of 3-1.
Al-Mashal confirmed that the achievements of the national teams are a culmination of the support from the wise leadership - may God protect it - and the interest and follow-up from the Minister of Sports, emphasizing the quality of Saudi football talents and the positive attention from the clubs, in addition to the upward trajectory of the results from the strategic plans set for youth teams by the technical management of the Saudi Football Federation and the supporting departments.
Al-Mashal expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of the Asir Region and his deputy for honoring the final match of the tournament and presenting the national team players with the trophy, as well as the Yemeni team players for their second-place finish. He also thanked the Assistant Minister of Sports for the congratulations on the organizational success of the tournament and its distinguished appearance alongside the strong technical levels displayed by the Gulf teams, as well as the supportive audience for the champion national team.
The President of the Saudi Federation concluded by affirming that the strong technical performance of the national team under 19 years old and the crowning of the title in a competitive Gulf championship for players under 20 years old demonstrates the determination, talent, and moral and physical motivation of the Saudi player, which enhances the future standing of the players as they continue to build technically according to the strategy prepared for the teams and various competitions to serve Saudi football and contribute to its achievements.
