كشفت مصادر صحفية إسبانية أن حدة التوتر بين نادي برشلونة ورابطة الدوري الإسباني قد تصاعدت، بعد أن قررت الأخيرة رفض أي تقرير طبي صادر عن النادي بشأن الحارس الألماني مارك أندريه تير شتيغن، ما لم يتم اعتماده شخصيًا من اللاعب نفسه.
وأوضحت هذه المصادر أن القرار يأتي في ظل فقدان رابطة الليجا ثقتها بالتقارير الطبية الداخلية للنادي الكتالوني، على خلفية الخلافات المتكررة حول قوانين اللعب المالي النظيف. وتشير التقارير إلى أن تير شتيغن يرفض التواصل حاليًا مع إدارة برشلونة، ما يعقّد أي خطوة رسمية قادمة بشأن حالته الصحية.
يذكر أن مشكلة حارس المرمى تير شتيجن مع فريقه برشلونة بدأت في يوليو الماضي عندما خضع شتيجن لعملية جراحية في الظهر وأعلن بعدها عبر حسابه الشخصي أن مدة غيابه عن الملاعب لن تتجاوز الأشهر الثلاثة، فيما كان للفريق الطبي في برشلونة رأي آخر، إذ حدد مدة غياب اللاعب بـ 5 أشهر وهي المدة التي تسمح لإدارة برشلونة باستخدام 80٪ من مرتب اللاعب لتسجيل اللاعبين الجدد الذين تعاقد معهم النادي مثل خوان جارسيا وماركوس راشفورد دون خرق أنظمة اللعب المالي النظيف، ومازاد من تفاقم المشكلة هو رفض شتيجن توقيع التقرير الطبي الذي اعتمده النادي ليتمكن من ارساله إلى رابطة الدوري الإسباني وتسجيل لاعبيه الجدد.

However, the medical team at Barcelona had a different opinion, estimating the player's absence at five months, which allows Barcelona's management to use 80% of the player's salary to register new players the club has signed, such as Juan García and Marcus Rashford, without violating financial fair play regulations. The situation was further exacerbated by Ter Stegen's refusal to sign the medical report approved by the club so that it could be sent to La Liga to register its new players.
