أعلن نادي الاتحاد عبر حسابه الرسمي مُغادرة السداسي نواف الجدعاني وطلال حاجي وعدنان البشري ومحمد هزازي وماتيو بوريل وأسياس رودريغيز المُعسكر الاعدادي للفريق الكروي الأول، تمهيداً لانضمامهم لتدريبات فريق تحت 21 عاماً بقرار فني من الجهاز الفني، ولحاجة فريق تحت 21 سنة لتدعيم صفوفه بعدد من اللاعبين، تحضيراً للمشاركة الموسم القادم في دوري النخبة السعودي تحت 21 عاماً للموسم الرياضي 2025-2026.
يذكر أن مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم اعتمد إطلاق دوري النخبة السعودي تحت 21 عاماً للموسم الرياضي القادم 2025ـ2026، في خطوة تأتي بعد تقييم تجربة إطلاق الدوري الرديف، الذي أُقيم على مدى موسمين وساهم في زيادة عدد دقائق اللعب للاعبين.
ويقود الجهاز الفني لفريق الاتحاد تحت 21 عاماً المدرب الإسباني إيفان كاراسكو، إذ يواصل الفريق تحضيراته للموسم الجديد بعد المعسكر الإعدادي الخاص الذي أُقيم في أسبانيا وحظي بمتابعة من الرئيس التنفيذي في النادي والمدير الرياضي.
ويعد قطاع الفئات السنية بنادي الاتحاد من الأهداف ذات الأولوية التي تشهد تطوراً في نادي الاتحاد وخصوصاً من حيث دعم الفريق بعناصر مهمة من أندية منافسة.
