استدعت وزارة الخارجية السعودية السفير الإيراني لدى المملكة علي رضا عنايتي، وذلك على خلفية الاعتداءات الإيرانية السافرة التي طالت المملكة وعددًا من الدول الشقيقة.
وشدد نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد عبدالكريم الخريجي، خلال استدعاء السفير الإيراني، على استياء وإدانة واستنكار المملكة للاعتداءات الإيرانية على المملكة ودول الخليج، والرفض القاطع لانتهاك سيادة الدول بما يقوض أمن واستقرار المنطقة، كما أكد أن المملكة ستتخذ جميع الإجراءات اللازمة للذود عن أمنها وحماية أراضيها.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian ambassador to the Kingdom, Ali Reza Anayati, in light of the blatant Iranian assaults that targeted the Kingdom and several sister countries.
During the summoning of the Iranian ambassador, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Engineer Walid Abdulkarim Al-Khreeji emphasized the Kingdom's discontent, condemnation, and denunciation of the Iranian assaults on the Kingdom and Gulf countries, as well as the firm rejection of violating the sovereignty of nations, which undermines the security and stability of the region. He also confirmed that the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to defend its security and protect its territories.
