The coach of the Al-Ittihad team, Laurent Blanc, has called for avoiding the mistakes that occurred in the matches against Turkish team Fenerbahçe and Portuguese team Vitória Guimarães during the current training camp in the Algarve, Portugal. Blanc has been keen during the last two matches to assess the levels of some players and their physical and technical readiness for the upcoming stage.

Coach Blanc has started preparing for the third friendly match against English team Fulham at 8:00 PM next Wednesday, as the international players have rejoined the training sessions after their break granted to them following their participation with the Saudi national team in the 2025 Gold Cup (CONCACAF). Blanc will conduct football drills to prepare the team technically and finalize the core players who will participate in the friendly match against Fulham.

The Al-Ittihad team is preparing for the new sports season in which it will participate in four tournaments: domestically in the "Super Cup, Roshan League, and King’s Cup," and regionally in the "AFC Champions League for the elite."
