علمت «عكاظ» من مصادرها أن الإدارة الرياضية بنادي الاتحاد تسعى لتمديد عقد قائد الفريق الكروي الأول كريم بنزيما الذي سينتهي صيف 2026، إذ لا يمانع المهاجم الفرنسي في الاستمرار مع العميد.
هذا وتنتظر الإدارة الرياضية تنصيب الإدارة الجديدة لنادي الاتحاد من أجل حسم ملف تمديد عقد القائد كريم بنزيما الذي يعتبر أحد أهم الملفات التي سيتم طرحها على طاولة الإدارة الاتحادية القادمة.
وتهدف الإدارة الرياضية بالعميد إلى تمديد عقد المهاجم كريم بنزيما في إطار دعم استقرار الفريق الاتحادي.
ونجح النجم كريم بنزيما في المساهمة بشكل فعال بتحقيق الفريق الاتحادي بطولتي دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، وكأس الملك، وحصد الثنائية المحلية في الموسم الماضي.
وكان كريم بنزيما انضم لصفوف الفريق الاتحادي صيف 2023 بعقد لمدة 3 مواسم حتى صيف 2026، مضى منها موسمان وتبقى له موسم واحد.
من جانب آخر، يواصل الفريق الاتحادي برنامجه الإعدادي بمعسكر جيرونا الإسبانية بقيادة المدرب لوران بلان الذي يسعى لتجهيز العميد لخوض أولى مبارياته الودية أمام فنار بخشة التركي الأربعاء القادم الساعة العاشرة مساء.
