أعلن الاتحاد العربي لكرة السلة، تنظيم مملكة البحرين للنسخة الـ 26 من البطولة العربية لمنتخبات كرة السلة الوطنية للرجال، وذلك بعد اعتذار الاتحاد التونسي عن تنظيم الحدث.
وجاءت استضافة البحرين لهذه البطولة بعد أن تقدّم الاتحاد البحريني لكرة السلة بطلبٍ عاجلٍ إلى الاتحاد العربي لاستضافة البطولة، إذ تُمثّل فرصة لتعزيز روح المنافسة الرياضية والتواصل بين المنتخبات في الوطن العربي.
ومن المقرر أن تنطلق البطولة في موعدها المقرر سلفاً يوم 25 يوليو الجاري، وتستمر حتى 2 أغسطس المقبل، وستشهد مشاركة نخبة من المنتخبات العربية في منافسات يتوقع أن تكون قوية ومثيرة.

The Arab Basketball Federation announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 26th edition of the Arab Championship for Men's National Basketball Teams, following the Tunisian Federation's withdrawal from organizing the event.
Bahrain's hosting of this championship came after the Bahrain Basketball Federation submitted an urgent request to the Arab Federation to host the tournament, as it represents an opportunity to enhance the spirit of sports competition and communication among teams in the Arab world.
The championship is scheduled to kick off on its previously set date of July 25 and will continue until August 2. It will witness the participation of a selection of Arab teams in competitions that are expected to be strong and exciting.
