اقترب النجم الهلالي جواو كانسيلو من إنهاء برنامجه التأهيلي، وتعافيه من الإصابة بتمزق في عضلة الفخذ الخلفية، التي تعرض لها خلال مجريات مواجهة فريقه أمام جوانجو الكوري الجنوبي في دور نصف النهائي من دوري أبطال نخبة آسيا بجدة، ولم يستطع إكمال المباراة مع زملائه في البطولة.
ويسعى كانسيلو (30 عاماً) للوصول للجاهزية الكاملة من خلال إشراف الطبيب الإسباني خوان خيمينيز على تجهيزه قبل المشاركة في كأس العالم للأندية التي ستنطلق الأحد القادم في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
يذكر أن الفريق الهلالي سيخوض 3 مباريات في دور المجموعات في مونديال أندية العالم في أمريكا، الأولى أمام فريق ريال مدريد الأربعاء 18 يونيو الجاري الساعة 10:00 مساء، والثانية ضد سالزبورغ النمساوي الإثنين 23 يونيو الجاري 1:00 صباحاً، والثالثة أمام باتشوكا المكسيكي الجمعة 27 يونيو الجاري الساعة 4:00 صباحاً.
