أعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (يويفا) اعتماد الكرة الرسمية الخاصة بالمباراة النهائية لدوري أبطال أوروبا، المقرر إقامتها يوم 30 مايو القادم في العاصمة المجرية بودابست، على أن يتم استخدامها أيضاً في الأدوار الإقصائية من البطولة.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام إسبانية أن الكرة الجديدة، التي قامت أديداس بتصميمها وكُشف عنها رسمياً يوم (الإثنين)، جاءت مستوحاة من الطابع المعماري والثقافي لمدينة بودابست، تحت شعار «بودا وبيست.. تاريخ مدينتين»، في إشارة إلى الجذور التاريخية للمدينة التي نشأت من ضفتي نهر الدانوب.
ويجسد التصميم مزيجاً بصرياً يعكس التناقض المتناغم بين جانبي العاصمة المجرية، مستلهماً الأشكال الانسيابية وفن الآرت نوفو (Art Nouveau) الذي يميز المشهد العمراني في بودابست، إلى جانب ألوان حيوية تعبر عن إرثها الفني والثقافي العريق.
من جهته، أكد يويفا أن الكرة الجديدة صُممت لتلبي أعلى معايير الأداء المعتمدة في مسابقات النخبة، حيث تعتمد على تقنية أديداس المعروفة بالبنية الحرارية الخالية من الخياطة، بما يوفر دقة أعلى وثباتاً أفضل وتحكماً محسّناً، فضلاً عن تصميم يعزز من سرعة اللعب ودقته بما يتناسب مع متطلبات وشدة مباريات دوري أبطال أوروبا.
The European Football Association (UEFA) announced the official ball for the UEFA Champions League final, scheduled to take place on May 30 in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, and it will also be used in the knockout stages of the tournament.
Spanish media reported that the new ball, designed by Adidas and officially unveiled on Monday, is inspired by the architectural and cultural character of Budapest, under the slogan "Buda and Pest... The History of Two Cities," referring to the historical roots of the city that emerged from both banks of the Danube River.
The design embodies a visual mix that reflects the harmonious contrast between the two sides of the Hungarian capital, drawing inspiration from the flowing shapes and Art Nouveau style that characterize the urban landscape of Budapest, alongside vibrant colors that express its rich artistic and cultural heritage.
For its part, UEFA confirmed that the new ball is designed to meet the highest performance standards set for elite competitions, utilizing Adidas's well-known seam-free thermal construction technology, which provides higher accuracy, better stability, and improved control, in addition to a design that enhances the speed and precision of play to meet the demands and intensity of UEFA Champions League matches.
